My reading plan's "Stop Reading/Mark Read" indicator doesn't seem to make an appearance unless I scroll past the marker's estimated location and then use Page Up or the mouse wheel to scroll backwards through the resource.  I thought I might have seen a bug report/bug fix regarding this earlier, although I can't seem to locate the post now, and I thought I'd make a bug post just in case.

[edit]: This is Verbum 6.1 SR-2 on Windows 7 SP1 64-bit.  The resource is Kevin Vost's "Memorize the Reasons!" (LLS:MEMORIZEREASONS).

Hi Brian,

Thank you for reporting this. Is this behavior able to be replicated? Do you mind grabbing a bit more information if it is?

Enable logging--http://www.logos.com/support/logos5/windows/logging.

Take a screenshot of the reading plan parameters (see attached image below).

Grab a screen cap through screen capture software (we use a free one called Jing at http://www.techsmith.com/jing.html.

Hi Tommy,

Yep, I can reproduce the error.  The "Start Reading/Green traffic signal" is displayed with the correct readings described, and the stop sign is missing until I scroll past it by a couple pages, and then scroll back.  I hope the attached log files and screen shots are what y'all were looking for.

Thanks for looking into this,

Brian

This problem was fixed in 6.2 Beta 1. The fix will be available soon in a regular release.

Hi Andrew;

Not completely fixed yet. The issue appears to be corrected in SOME resources (such as DIY Bible Study and Study Like a Pro), but not in Moments With God.

Hi Erwin, I haven't been able to reproduce the behavior you are seeing. Are you using a custom reading plan (the DIY Bible Study plan that I have access to has no readings in Moment for God)? If so, would you be able to share it?

Can you give the specific steps you performed to get to the point where the behavior in the screenshot above occurred?

Thanks!

Hi Chris;

Here are the steps that I performed that produced the issue (which seems to be consistant).

1. Within the DIY reading plan, open the entry on "Reflections on 1 Kings: Where Credit Is Due".

2. Click the link "Continue Reading ...". This will open the Moments with God resource to the section "Where Credit Is Due".

Here is a complete screenshot of my screen (which is 16:9).

BTW: No custom reading plan. This is the plan that came with the DIY resource.

Thanks for the repro steps. Unfortunately, this is a separate issue; "Continue Reading" is simply a link to a location in Moment with God, which is not a part of the reading plan at all. The fact that we are showing the reading plan UI in Moment with God is completely wrong.

I will create an issue for this internally and someone will post here when there is an update. Thanks!
