[Resolved]Bug: Logos Search Crash
Type (not cut and paste) the following when doing a Bible Search:
{Speaker <Person Jesus>} WITHIN {Section <LiteraryType Quotation, Old Testament>}
Logos crashes (hard) as soon as I get through typing the word 'WITHIN'. I am running 6.1 SR-2 on Mac OS 10.10.

I don't get this - running the beta of 6.2 on Windows - so hopefully someone running on Mac will be able to check / confirm
Please post logs after a crash - https://www.logos.com/support/logos6/mac/report-problem

I'm unable to replicate this crash. What are your search parameters besides it being a Bible search? Is "Search While typing" enabled?

Sorry for the confusion. Leave off the 2nd curly brace. In other words, type a malformed syntax string and it crashes hard. Something like:
{Speaker <Person Jesus> WITHIN

I'm able to replicate that behavior. I'll report it.

This has been fixed in the 6.2 Beta, and we should be able to get the fix into an SR for stable users next week. Until then, avoid malformed search syntax. [:)]

The fix for this is in 6.1 SR-3, which has just shipped. [:)]
