Is there any way to set the default view for a book to be Auto Columns? The books I read with scroll are the exception, and it would be nice to have columns as the default behavior.

In general, you have to set books to Auto when you first open them and that setting should stick. For books in a layout, just set them to Auto and they will retain that setting when the layout is re-loaded.

There isn't a single setting for all books to open with auto!

Given that Logos 6 is no longer supported . . .

Orthodox Bishop Hilarion Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."

Hmm.  You'll have to explain that one, MJ.  Wink

I see the same column settings in Logos 9.  One of them is Auto.  Alan hoped Auto could be the default then.  I'm hoping it can be the default now.  Or am I missing something obvious?

Oh, I see.  This is the Logos 6 forum.  LOL!  I did a Google search and found the thread, not realizing what forum it came from.  Well, the question remains.  I guess I'll post it on the Logos 9 forum.  Smile
