I recently installed the Tyndale commentaries into L3 and noticed that there are two volumes 12 as shown below.
Baldwin, J. G. (1984). Vol. 12: Esther: An Introduction and Commentary. Tyndale Old Testament Commentaries. Downers Grove, IL: InterVarsity Press.
Kidner, D. (1979). Vol. 12: Ezra and Nehemiah: An Introduction and Commentary. Tyndale Old Testament Commentaries. Downers Grove, IL: InterVarsity Press.

Is this a known anomaly?

Yes, 1st and 2nd editions.  They are both listed on the product page: http://www.logos.com/products/details/5310

I guess what was/is confusing to me is not that there is the 1st and 2nd edition of Esther included in the collection, but that two commentaries on two different books have the same volume number.

Kidner, D. (1979). Vol. 12: Ezra and Nehemiah: An Introduction and Commentary. Tyndale Old Testament Commentaries. Downers Grove, IL: InterVarsity Press. Baldwin, J. G. (1984). Vol. 12: Esther: An Introduction and Commentary. Tyndale Old Testament Commentaries. Downers Grove, IL: InterVarsity Press. Reid, D. (2008). Vol. 13: Esther: An Introduction and Commentary. Tyndale Old Testament Commentaries. Downers Grove, IL: InterVarsity Press.

What is more confusing is trying to load my Tyndale Commentary CD on to Logos 3 without a code number sticker sttached, an 800 Customer Support number not valid when ringing from New Zealand, and automatic excuses emails from Customer Support each time I try to make contact.

Anyone else having the same problem of not being able to get a download code from Logos?

Better still, anyone having found a way to solve this.

I will be most grateful.

Peace to you, Arthur!  And Joy!

I had the same situation.  The commentaries actually worked by the "call" for code activation kept coming up.  Found help on the Forums!   *smile*

If you can access your commentaries, then perhaps this is the same problem.  A number of people on two threads helped me out!  *smile*
