I was looking at getting the book as I scrolled through the discounted MM titles, only to see that it is only the first edition that is discounted. The second, most recent, edition is out in Logos format here:

Why one is discounted and not the other is a bit of a mystery to me. Why even continue to sell the first edition alongside the most recent one?
And a related question, it was my understanding that Dr. Moo's Mobile Education on Romans's was keyed to the first edition.
There was talk about updating it to the second edition.
Someday I'd like to purchase the Mobile Ed course.
Is it still keyed to the first or will I need to purchase the updated second edition?
Francis:Why even continue to sell the first edition alongside the most recent one?
Good question. The only good answer I could come up with: Some schools may still be using the first version.

Interesting: the discounted one is NOT grayed out for me in the MM list but I already have a copy in my Library from several years ago:
Wonder what is going on with this edition ?
Logos sold two different versions of the first edition, one with pictures was the original one sold, and then something happened and they could no longer sell it, and they sold an edition without pictures.

I reported this issue a couple of days ago and after Toby Steele said he'd have someone look into it, Todd Phillips explained why this is the case:

EDIT: Oops, I just realized that Kenneth gave essentially the same answer already above.

Thanks Kenneth and Rosie:
Glad I got the one with the illustrations !!
I think I am confused. Clicking to the other threads did not help with my confusion. Are you saying the one at this address does not have pictures?
and then there is one at
https://www.logos.com/product/33112/encountering-the-book-of-romans-a-theological-survey
which was the first edition which does have pictures.
The only one on sale is the first edition. It has pictures but the second does not? They had to remove the pictures (2nd ed. description says "The new edition has been updated throughout and features a new interior design.")? How can they still sell the first edition or were the problem technical not legal? Was text and links updated?
Is the first edition really the better choice for more reason than just the money savings?
SHotchkiss: and then there is one at https://www.logos.com/product/33112/encountering-the-book-of-romans-a-theological-survey which was the first edition which does have pictures.
The description says down below that it does NOT have the pictures! They may be why it is cheaper!

I get it now. Thanks. They had 2 versions of the 1st edition. The newest 2014 is a whole new 3rd version called second edition. It has new content. I see it is exactly 240 pages like the other one.
EDIT: My post didn't get published until after everyone figured it out.
