Thank you, Jonathan. Solved my problem too.
Jonathan J Watson: Lee, you did such a great job spoofing this that *I* did a double take, and I work here!

Credit goes to Lew Worthington for the spoof.
One can only make a joke about hating 0.99 sales once a year!
Thank you Faithlife for the freebie "Isaiah" and the 0.99 "Jeremiah". I am pleased and grateful.
Thanks, Logos, for the gift of these substantial commentaries.

Clifford B. Kvidahl:One side note, Best Commentaries is nothing more than crowd sourcing. It can be helpful at times, but I have many times felt like it is nothing more than a popularity contest.
This is an apt description of Best Commentaries.
Alan Ang: Thank you Faithlife for the freebie "Isaiah" and the 0.99 "Jeremiah". I am pleased and grateful.
You said it, Alan!
Every blessing

Sort of. It is curated by John Dyer, who is a friend of mine. He did used to scour the journals and such for good reviews, but of course it was skewed slightly towards his theological interests as to where he'd look for reviews (he's a graduate of and works for Dallas Theological Seminary). But he has had less time to spend on it lately, and it is now mostly driven by registered user submitted reviews. For a while the registration accounts on it were getting filled up with spam names, which I pointed out to him, and he blocked it -- started requiring a CAPTCHA to register to post reviews. Still, it's a good place to start.

I completely agree. However, I would encourage others not to be immediately dismissive of commentaries that don't have high rankings at Best Commentaries. In my experience, you will miss some great commentaries if you begin and end at Best Commentaries.
André Kamphuis: The links don't work yet showing the discount, but it's looking like a sweet deal. What a discount on two fairly recent commentary volumes from the OTL series (normally sold for $45 and $43)!

Would like to say thanks to the publisher, Westminster John Knox Press, for making this available. Dynamic Pricing is swinging me to purchasing the set.
