I'm glad I finally checked for others having this same problem -- has been annoying me for years. Still exists in v7 -- last character of a word + a punctuation mark being pushed to next line. Here's an example from Genesis 47:20

This was fixed in 7.5 Beta 1 (but was inadvertently omitted from the release notes). It should be shipping to stable next week.
