Timeline with books and authors of the bible?
Hi there
I have a question regarding how to filter out books, authors and events of the bible on the timeline. E.g. I want to see that Isaiah, Hosea and Amos were contemporaries also the biblical events they wrote about. In a way, it's like looking at the biblical events but with the addition of in which books of the bible these events are recorded.
Is this possible? Please advise, thanks!

June,
I think the screenshot below will provide you with the filters needed to accomplish what you are looking for.

Thanks, Michael. I'm still on Logos 5 so I can't filter by subject nor type. Is there a workaround in Logos 5?
In any case, in Logos 6, would you be able to also add the biblical events during this period?

You realize that you can update to Logos 6 for free I assume?
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I think I have to pay for the upgrade from 5 to 6. It's only the updates to 5 that are free.

No - the free L6 core engine is available at https://www.logos.com/product/46767/logos-6-core-engine

NOTE to Faithlife --This is just one of many examples of people who thought they couldn't get L6 without breaking their bank. Making the free L6 core engine more "visible" would foster (I believe) greater brand loyalty among existing customers and more goodwill in general! Please reconsider the current approach.
Blessings!
P.S. If you'll look up some of my own direct correspondence with Eli or Kyle, you will see that I don't personally lack in "brand loyalty"!, but it's harder to defend Faithlife's methods to people who have a bad taste in their mouth from the aggressive marketing.

I agree its an issue - but I'm not quite sure how much more Faithlife can do
On their main page is a "Logos 6" section - in that there is a link "Ways to move to Logos 6" and one of the ways outlined on that page is going ahead and getting the free engine.
Yes, they could put a "Please note you can get the free Logos 6 core engine" message on the main page but that might get lost with everything else that is on there.
So I agree it is an issue but not sure of the resolution.
