Suggestion: Hovering over Scripture reference shows two translations instead of one

Normally when I hover over a Scripture reference, I get to see the verse in my highest prioritized version. I thought it would be nice if it were possible to select two versions to show up (for example a more literal one and a more meaning-based one, or the Greek text plus one's favorite translation).

I have one resource in which this automatically happens:

I cannot choose which versions to show, but I think the top reference is just set to NIV84 and the second is my highest prioritized version. This resource (Translator's Notes series) is distributed through Logos by a third party (SIL), but it kind of shows that technically it should be possible to do this.

I would love to have this as an option in all my resources. Would more people be interested?

Try hitting F7 when you are hovering over a reference - this brings up another popup with your highest five prioritised Bibles showing

Hi Graham, I am aware of this feature, but I was looking for something more user-friendly and customizable:

    1. I would prefer to see two versions show up directly when I hover over a reference, without having to press F7 (or a combination of two keys on some keyboards).
    2. There has got to be something between 1 and 5, right? I don't prefer my screen to fill up with five versions, instead I would like to just have quick access to two versions that have proven to be helpful in my studies. For something more in-depth, there is plenty of tools in Logos already (I use the Text Comparison tool myself). It would be nice having a setting in which a user can choose the amount of versions to show up when hovering over a Scripture reference (or pressing F7).
    3. The F7-solution doesn't work on mobile devices. If all references would automatically show up in the versions that the user has selected, I assume it would then work on mobile devices as well.

sounds like a layout with your two favorite translations visible on the same link set with one of them set to "send hyperlinks here" would achieve what you want, although its obviously not a pop-up

Fair enough - it has been discussed a few times before. See https://community.logos.com/forums/t/34780.aspx for an example.

I wouldn't assume that. At a minimum the code would probably need to be updated to support it and other things might be needed as well.

I've created a request for this feature:

    https://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-7/suggestions/17140322-show-two-translations-for-scripture-references

Perhaps you guys could add a couple votes to speed up the process.
