[resolved] Copy Bible Verses tool: can I copy and paste just a selection, and not a whole verse?

I know I can use an open Bible, highlight a selection, right click on it, (make sure the "selection" is chosen), and click "copy," then go paste it in Microsoft Word.

But I'd like to add the automatic features of Copy Bible Verse (I like the "Quotation" style) where it does some formatting and adds the book, chapter, and verse.

I often add little snippets of Scripture into sermon outlines, and I often just want a phrase or two, not the whole verse.  Is this possible?

Hi David

Sorry, but the CBV tool works on verse boundaries - not portions of verses

Okay thanks--saves me some time trying to get it to do something since now I know it simply can't do it.

Although CBV works on whole verses, you can paste the whole verse in the format you want and delete the parts you don't need in Word. Probably just as easy as selecting the phrases you want in L6.
