Bug: Sorting not working with the new licencing column
If you click on the "License" column and then SHIFT+click on the "Last Updated" column, you should get your library grouped by licence, then sorted by last updated. This doesn't work. (It does work if you first sort by series, or by publisher or author. It just doesn't work when you first sort by licence.)

This is a known issue. You will also note the same behavior with the Reading Status column and possibly a few other columns.

Andrew,
is there a way to use the license field in the library filter (like license:temporary or lic:temp) ? Currently it doesn't seem to work and not even match 'temporary' or 'permanent' as existing anywhere in the metadata

I just realized this morning that filtering was left out. I'm taking a look.

Sounds good! Maybe while you're at it, you could "throw in" collections filtering! 😜

This should be fixed in 6.4 RC1.
The License column is now able to be used as a filter, i.e. “license:temporary” or “license:permanent”.

We just had multiple people test this internally, and it seems to be working for us. Can any other beta testers report whether or not this is working?
Dave, does your library panel have the yellow bar across the top indicating that the library catalog is being updated?

Win 7 - 64, 4.6 RC1.
The filter appears to work in Library. Not tested in the context of a Collection.
Strangely its reporting I have a temp license for "Reformed Dogmatics" which is unexpected and maybe incorrect.

OK - Ignore the Reformed Dogmatics. Seems its part of "Logos Now".

Try clicking a rating star to force the Library Catalog index to rebuild. Does that allow the "license:temporary" search to work?

It's working for me (on Mac 10.10.3, L6.4-RC2).

Yes. You had forgotten to remind us that this is often necessary!
