search not working - is there a setting I should change?

I open inline search on ESV, type in a word, hit return, and what I get is pulldown of choices, but even if I select one, I get no result. For example, search Mark in ESV for English word "first" and I get 0 results.

I tried the search function from the menu as well. Searched Top Bibles for the word Love - search does not work there either.

This sounds like a corrupt index

I suggest you type the command "rebuild index" into your command bar - please note this may take some time to rebuild and can really impact performance on your system while you are doing it

All seemed well - but it was temporary. Search is failing again.

In between I added 2 new resources (update and index) last night, and this morning there was a Logos update of some kind9M if memory serves and short indexing.

Actions I have been engaged in: tags for my library, and reading Help topics on tools - including exercise of some tools.

I am reindexing, but seems like frequent corruption.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We wish we could fix this problem but aren't sure what's causing it yet. I know it doesn't help right now, but we're adding more diagnostics in 6.5 to try to track down the cause.
