John Duffy:
how do you get to view those documents?  All I see is a page which says that my copy is up to date. What copy?

That would be your copy of the Collection you can view in the Documents menu of L6. They show you what you own. The Bibliography documents contain all of the Cloud material and can be seen from inside L6 or on the linked documents.logos.com page. Plus:

Jacob has edited his post to also include PDFs of the Bibliographies: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/107124/740717.aspx#740717

Thanks Mick, I'll have a look at that.  But how do I provide a link so that when I'm promoting Logos Cloud interested church members can view the list of resources?  They need to be Logos users, and know more about it than I do/did (where to view the documents), before they can see what they would be paying for!  Not only is there a steep learning curve once they sign up for Logos, but they need to ascend and conquer that learning curve before they can find out what resources they are paying for.  I'm a great fan of the concept of Logos Cloud, but I would like to see a simple webpage (which I gather would be regularly updated) with a list of resources visible to the public before I can promote it.

If you just give them the link to Jacob's post, they will see three pdfs (the last three documents) where they can see what resources they will get. Even that might be overwhelming for most people. Logos has tried to break it down into very easy descriptions of intended tasks and functionality in the three levels of Cloud: https://logoscloud.com/pricing

Other than that, I think it's the "come and see!" approach - since the first month is free, there's no risk if somebody subscribes 'for a try' and cancels within four weeks.

Me too.  But just be aware, John, that the list you'll get under the collections title that shows up in your Logos 6, is a list of all that you  already own that is a part of the cloud resources.  That must be of some value to someone somewhere but it's practical use totally escapes me.

The lists under the bibliographies contain all the resources but they are hidden behind the author's names and the only way to get any idea of what the resources are is to read through the entire list of 162 pages and hope you find what you are looking for.

Longtime Logos user (more than $30,000 in purchases) - now a second class user because I won't pay them more every month or year.

Hi Mick.  Hmm, a bibliographic list, sorted by author name, isn't really what I would have liked to see.  I was hoping to see something like the comparison list of resources in base packages.  I don't really want to ask people to sign up in order to see what they would get if they signed up.  But I suppose that a comparison table will appear in due course - it'd just have been good to have it when Logos Cloud is first launched.

Jacob Cerone:

Nathan,

Thanks for the feedback. I've created two types of documents to make it easier for everyone to see exactly what resources come in which packages. Below, you will find collection and bibliography files for all three levels:

Collections:

Premium
Plus
Essentials

Bibliography:

Premium
Plus
Essentials

PDF:

Essentials
Plus
Premium

I intend to keep these up-to-date as the resource licensing changes over time.

I'm not seeing these two items in your Cloud Plus PDF Bib. Are they still a part of Cloud Plus?

Qumran Biblical Dead Sea Scrolls Database

Reformed Dogmatics, Geerhardus Vos

Thanks!

I think one of these was included in the Cloud Plus list, but I can't tell if both are in there. Are Vocab of the Greek New Testament and Moulton-Howard-Turner Greek Grammar Collection included in Cloud Plus? Those are the two volumes I'm missing from L6 Biblical Languages, but I haven't found a way to justify either option to go for them yet.

Hi Nathan,

At the moment, the Moulton-Howard-Turner Greek Grammar Collection is not included in Plus, but Moulton's Vocabulary of the Greek Testament is. The Qumran Biblical Dead Sea Scrolls Database and Vos' Reformed Dogmatics are also in Plus.

Hope that helps!

Jacob, has the files been updated for the new resources added this month, and will you be rolling a set of files for the new Professional collection (just curious on what I'm missing out at $100/month). :-)

Thanks!

All the files have now been updated. I've also added a collection and pdf file for the Professional Collection.

Sounds great. How do I update to the latest copies of the files inside Logos? Thanks!

Since I used the same collection files and only added to them. They should sync to the master file that you've downloaded. If that is not the case, re-add the file to your account.
