The CP pricing dropped this morning!

This is a well respected set of commentaries, I bid 16 dollars on it a long long time ago, I never expected it to reach production at that price, but it did and now it has also reached it at only 14 dollars, if you have not bid on this item, ask yourself why not? It is worth 10 times this 14 dollar price.
This is really a good chance to not only pick the set up at a great price, but if enough of you that have never ordered or have bids of under 14 dollars place a bid at 14 dollars you will be sure of paying only 14 dollars and you might drive the price down to only 12 dollars, I want to thank those that helped drive it down to 14 dollars I was getting a great buy at 16 dollars and now I will only have to pay 14 dollars and maybe less, this is going to be a community pricing offer to remember 3.50 per book for a high quality reference commentary!!! Thanks Logos!
In Christ,
Jim
Remember a bid for $14 is also a bid for every dollar amount below $14 and you are always guaranteed the lowest final price, no matter how high you bid! Just a few more bids and this work could cross the $12 mark. Keep those bids coming!
If the people who have bid $8 and $10 raise their bids to $12 then that would be enough to get it over 100%. HOwever, if they want to guaruntee they get it they need to bid $14.
Remember a bid for $14 is also a bid for every dollar amount
Yeah, so go crazy! If you want to feel like you're living it up large put in the maximum - bid $36 - you'll still only pay $14 or maybe less
Yes, now is the time to feel like a big spender and put it large bids, since there is no risk in ever paying more than 14 dollars, you can put in those big bids and watch your heart rate go through the roof, Just remember what ever happens on the community pricing page stays on the community pricing page!!!
We are all winning on this one, just don;t miss out by bidding low, there is nothing to lose by bidding at 14.00 unless you just don;t want the resource. Even then you can always cancel latter if you need to.
It looks like we are half way to the $12 line! Keep those bids coming!
Kevin, you are right, on my page the very top of the dot has started to touch the line, we really might make it to 12 dollars, but time is running short!
It could go to the wire, Kevin vote again!!! Just kidding, but it does make you want to help out.
Remember to be sure of getting the resource at this time you must bid 14 dollars and not 12 dollars, however if you would only want it at 12 dollars that bid really helps to get it down to that level too!
We are extremely close to $12 now
I just saw my pre order for 12 dollars.
Yup, it's now down to $12. More people have been jumping in at the last minute! Cool!
Great! I bid for it ages ago at $18. What a wonderful bargain! [:D]
Want some more? Look at these I've also bid for.

Catena Aurea: Commentary on the Four Gospels by Thomas Aquinas (8 Vols.) [DOWNLOAD]
They are steals at the prices they are being offered for! Catena Aurea is brilliant for Patristics. It's worth its weight in gold! (Pardon the pun.) [:$]
What is so good about this NT for English Readers? I read the description and didn't come away feeling I needed it (no disrespect meant, just watching my non-existent dollars)
On the same note: GEORGE MUELLER COLLECTION!!! GET IT!
Dan you right I just read the little blurb on the book and I am going to cancel!!! Not really, but I understand what you mean from what they say it is hard to get excited about the series, but check out the comments that C.H. Spurgeon in his book on Commenting and Commentaries, he gave the books high marks.
I don't have this book by Alford but have owned his books in paper back on the Greek NT which this series is patterned after, his book series on the Greek NT is still one of my all time favorites concerning what the text means according to the Greek text. In fact I am not the only one that finds Him very helpful Check out this link to John Piper's feeling about this author. http://www.logos.com/products/prepub/details/4168

Jim, thank you for taking time to reply to my sincere query. I have checked out the link you provided, also. Thank you!
Dan
Let's keep the bids coming.
For those that do not know of the works of Alford and who he was here is a sample concerning his life. Check out this article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Alford here is a sample.
Alford was born in London, of a Somerset family, which had given five consecutive generations of clergymen to the Anglican church. Alford's early years were passed with his widowed father, who was curate of Steeple Ashton in Wiltshire. He was a precocious boy, and before he was ten had written several Latin odes, a history of the Jews and a series of homiletic outlines. After a peripatetic school course he went up to Trinity College, Cambridge, in 1827 as a scholar. In 1832 he was 34th wrangler and 8th classic, and in 1834 was made fellow of Trinity.[1]
Just over 2 hours remain for the CP price of $12 for almost 2000 pages!
So what happens now? Will it automatically ship when its done? Its no longer listed in my account information. Just curious.
Thanks,
Jason
It now graduates to pre-pub - you'll see it appear there some time soon - just before they're ready to ship you'll get an email notifying you that they're about to charge your card.
It is not showing up on my pre-pub list, is this normal? how long does it usually take for it to appear on our pre-pub list?
thanks
Mark
I don't know if I've ever taken any notice - I don't know what Logos has to do in the system to make the change and they've been putting up other titles on pre-pub today - I imagine it'll appear sometime next week - maybe Monday - maybe not.. Coming out of community pricing means they now have enough "pledges" to get started on production which could take weeks to months depending on the title and what else is on the work schedule.
For those who didn't order at the CP price of $12--it is now available on pre-pub at $59
One of the LOGOS staff mentioned that there was a problem with processing the Community Pricing bids this afternoon. Nothing specific, just that those effected will be notified.
