Here is mine log. I actually reinstalled 6.04 to see if it would be different and of course I cannot launch the application to go back to 6.05 beta :)
I was actually not thinking that someone would respond since being a beta junky I know the risk, though this crash might deliver me.
Thanks alabama24.
PS: Is there a full download of the new beta?

True, but the logs might be helpful to the developers anyway. Thanks for posting them.

Generally you can get a download link from the "Hey, here's a new beta" thread. See here: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/109932.aspx
Well with Apple releasing the public beta today I hope this is not a slippery slope. :)
Also, I check that link and the get info still says it is a 6.4 build. I don't know if they don't change that in the beta. If there is a fix we will need a direct download as we cannot launch the application at all.
Thanks again!

Hi Rino,
Unfortunately this is an issue with El Capitan that Apple changed with the public beta (as in, it wasn't broken in the earlier developer previews) which broke a fundamental aspect Logos relies on. We have a developer looking into it, but it doesn't sound like it will be a quick fix.
It's worth noting, also, that we don't officially support beta operating systems. As such, I would caution Logos users against updating to El Capitan unless they have another machine they can use Logos with.
Sorry for the problems you've encountered, and that I don't have a solution for you. If you have a Time Machine backup of Yosemite, it may be best to restore to that point and avoid El Capitan for awhile.

No complaint on my part. Its Beta on a Beta, woot! Here is my log if that helps.

Thanks, Jeffrey. I'll pass that along!
Just out of curiosity, do you know what broke Logos with the beta 3 of El Capitan? Most of my logs looked like some lib files were at fault. I had crashes with beta 2 but could launch the app directly through terminal but not with an alias. After beta 3 update... just crashes. I do have a non testing machine so I am just asking in case there is something I might want to try to break on my testing machine in regard to the mono system libraries.
Apple's beta site has the following message that might give some hope to those who do not use a second machine...

I don't know the specifics, as I'm not a developer, but I know there was some aspect of Mono that was changed/removed in beta 3. Unfortunately that's all i know at this point.
Dylan,
Like I said earlier in my post I totally understand beta, done it for a long time. My hope was just to help out with logs and see if others were having the same issues so that it was confirmed. Thanks for the reply.
Apple pushed out the 32bit app supplemental update and 6.5b1 still crashes on start. Here are my logs.

Yes, I know that. I did not know if the 64bit mono libs would be dependent on 32bit libs or what Apple changed. I am beta testing and just trying provide logs for Faithlife Devs. The El Capitan beta 3 broke or removed something. Sys lib dependencies can be an issue.
A friend (Kevin Purcell) mentioned that El Capitan (beta) and his Logos 6 (beta). He wrote me, saying "Haven't had any issue with there latest logos beta and El Capitan on my Macs"
Have you seen any success yet with these two playing nicely together?
Thanks everyone!
UPDATE: Apologies. I spoke too soon. I just rec'd this:
Logos seems to work with the first developer preview but not with the public beta.
Is there any word on a fix? L6 B2 didn't fix it and the supplemental El Capitan certainly didn't fix it. Just wondering.

From macnn.com news (emphasis mine)
Macnn: 09:40 Apple released public betas of OS X 10.11 El Capitan and iOS 9, both of which are still very buggy but do offer a sneak peak at some of the new features. El Capitan and iOS 9 both seem faster to us, but that may be in part because there are a lot of apps -- and we mean a lot of apps -- that crash or freeze or otherwise don't work right, saving enormous amounts of time. One serious problem with 32-bit apps has since been patched, but there are still a lot of problems. Heed the warnings about beta software people, and put these on a spare machine unless you like pain, frustration, and lost data. We'd say these are only for the people who are serious about testing and reporting.

One final question regarding this issue, will the fix come from Apple or Logos? I have resorted to using Logos 6 on Windows 7 utilizing Vmware. It works but would obviously rather use OSX.
