There is a problem using El Capitan beta. See https://community.logos.com/forums/t/112821.aspx & https://community.logos.com/forums/t/112810.aspx
Sorry, but Logos 6 is not compatible with the first public beta of OS X 10.11. We don't have a fix for this problem yet.
Is there a projected time frame of when there will be a fix? And should we be waiting for an update from Apple or logos? Thanks for any help you can give.
As I just posted in the other thread, you might as well beta test the Logos app. Your other option is to wait until this goes live (probably 3+ weeks away). You should make sure to go back to stable once 6.5 goes to stable.
Thanks. I was able to download 6.5 beta 3 and it loads in El Capitan. It's still downloading resources (I uninstalled everything from the previous stable version), but hopefully it continues to run seamlessly.
You might want to set your update channel to beta in order to stay up-to-date with 6.5. Then, when 6.5 ships to the stable channel, reset your update channel to stable—unless you want to continue beta testing Logos.
Run "set update channel to default" and the program will do the right thing automatically. (And if you install the beta directly from the links in the Release Notes post, none of this is necessary.)

Will each following Beta also need to be manually downloaded?
Only if you want to update to that beta.
Hi Jason. Did 6.5 beta 3 work in El Capitan?
Not Jason. Not using El Capitan.
Other users have reported good luck with the build... If you are "stuck" because you are on El Capitan, I would recommend it. Otherwise you would be advised to wait to install El Capitan.

No, a beta release will upgrade itself to the next beta/RC by default, and then stick to stable releases once it reaches RC. (This is what "set update channel to default" does.)

With "set update channel to default" (my recommendation), beta releases will update themselves to beta releases (until RC).
With "set update channel to default"
Thank you for the clarification.
