This massive volume, scheduled to be published by Eerdmans in April 2016, looks to be new, as I find no evidence it has been published under this title previously. But I also see lots of citations in other publications as a "forthcoming" publication. I assume therefore that this is a long-planned resource (D. A. Carson looks to be the primary editor. Anyone know anything about it?

I believe that the book is a result of this gathering at TEDS in 2010.

This work is a long standing project as it grows out of a conference held at Trinity International University, which is the umbrella for Trinity Evangelical Div School, several years ago, possibly in 2012 or 20113. It was originally going to be published in two volumes under the title The Scripture Project. It was meant to be a follow up to the two books edited by Carson and published by Zondervan in the 1990's. It is now one-volume and over 1000 pages in length. I believe that there are over 40 authors, but not quite for sure. Should be outstanding.
Sounds like a candidate for Logos.

Interview with D.A. Carson about the book is posted at blog, Between Two Worlds
Another interview with D.A. Carson, this time by Eerdmans, is available here.
The book now seems to be available in a "popular ebook" edition as well as print. It's tempting. But I'd prefer Logos.
Could anyone there at Faithlife kind of, like, maybe, sort of, give us an idea whether or not it might be a good idea to watch and wait ?
