L4 B9 notes sorting

In a note that I did not import from L3, upon adding new notes from my Bible, they will not sort in order (from Genesis to Revelation. The section from L4 (non-Beta) was sorted, but new entries from B9 do not add themselves where they belong. They just go to the bottom of the list.
I also have a topical note for illustrations. I would like it to be sorted alphabetically, not put my newest entries at the bottom.
Is there a way to do sort these notes in the two different methods?
Thanks.

While I would prefer to have notes in order from Gen-Rev too, is this a big problem? When do you access our notes from within the note file that way? I just find notes by going to a verse in one of my bibles and see the yellow box.
The intent of my response is not to say that Logos does not need to fix this - I think they should - but rather to add perspective saying this is really not a big deal unless you can respond and show how you work with notes directly rather than through a Bible as I do.

Because my notes tend to be potential study questions or handout notes which I divide into various types, I used canonical sequence regularly in L3 to see what needed to be filled in. "Filled in" because it wasn't contained in any of the lectionary pericopes I had worked on.

So why not just access it via a Bible?
Again, I would like a fix too, but for my reasons I hope they add back sentence diagramming long before they fix this. Prioritization makes this way down the list for me for the reasons above.

Kevin, I do agree with Dan and MJ. Accessing my notes via the bible creates more work for me. I like all of my notes concerning a particular topic/bible verses in one spot. This way I can keep reading my notes without going back to the bible. Note: I do not always have the bible opened to what I am reading in my notes.

Because I am unable to set a color for notes for the entire note file and hence when I see notes marked in the Bible, I do not know what file it belongs to.

Dan,
Are you adding the note to the Reference rather than the Selection? I.e., when you right-click on a verse, is Reference selected on the right side of the context menu when you choose 'Add a note to "note file"? If I add a note this way in B9, it is added in canonical order. This is the default when adding references to a note directly from a Bible or Commentary.
If you are adding a note to a Selection, the default is to add it to the bottom. There may be sort options in a future release. Meanwhile, notes can be rearranged using drag and drop (this was put back in Beta 9).

Melissa, I think the problem is with older notes that were added before the canonical order problem was fixed. There is now no way to quickly sort those notes. I have just abandoned the use of notes and gone back to using another program for note keeping even though I've all but discontinued that program's use. This is a very small reason for this decision but part of it.
I only add notes to a verse. I never add topical notes or notes to words in a verse. So this is not a big issue for me. But now that I understand the others' problem I can see why they are unhappy. Hopping Logos will get them sorted out.
Would also love to import notes that are in RTF files and attached to another program.

I will try adding the note using the reference tag once B10 allows me to enter L4. I'm currently locked out.

Works wonderfully! Thanks.
