When I open a saved layout, it goes to the passage that I save with the layout. But the point is that I only want to save the layout but not the passage. Can I open a certain saved layouts on a passage directly, similar to the "Go" button? e.g can it be achieved by typing sth in the command bar?

Thanks.

Not at this time (or maybe ever). In the beta. The only things of that you have the ability to do that with are Bible Word Study, Passage Guide and Exegetical Guide and even in those, you open them first than type in passage or word information.
