I really like Fee/Strauss "How to Choose a Translation for All Its Worth"

My all time favorite on Bible translations is "How to choose a bible translation" by Robert l. Thomas.

Why? Because he is qualified and has a very high view of scripture. Also, the book is concise yet scholarly.
