Now on community pricing: OT317 Book Study: Judges by Daniel I. Block. This is your chance to get a great deal on a comprehensive treatment of Judges (18 hours!) by a leading expert on the book:

View background information and a clear exposition of Judges demonstrating its relevance to a modern setting. Pastors and teachers will benefit from lessons on the consequence of apostasy, deliverance, and the character of each Judge. Professors and students will appreciate a scholarly focus on the literary context in which Israel’s spiritual and moral disintegration took place. God rescuing Israel through the Judges is presented in an intellectually enriching and a highly accessible format that will transform your study and deepen understanding.

The more people that bid on the course, the lower the price will go. Here is some more information on Community Pricing if you aren't familiar with it.

This is great news. I wish we could have even more of these in Community Pricing. Yes

What is the difference between this and CM313 Preacing Judges (other than $60)?

The one on CP is 18 hours, versus 8 hours for the PrePub on, for one thing.

This outline is just a preliminary one. We created it in studio, and the titles aren't finalized. It's there on the product page to let you know, for example, that Dr. Block discusses "The Lowland Campaign" for six segments. When our editors work on the course they will try to make the segment titles more descriptive and distinct.

I see now that the minimum possible pricing has had some lower amounts added. Still seems to be little interest though.

Thank you Logos for putting this valuable resource in community pricing. I have been asking the company to put the Mobile Ed courses in community pricing and now that you have made this course available this way it is only appropriate that I thank you for it. I have placed my bid and I hope enough customers will get in on this quickly and that we will get a great price on it.

This is a very lengthy course by comparison to most others, hence presumably has a relatively high cost of production.
It may take more than a couple of dozen bids at $100 to $120 to get this one over 100%.

It has a significantly higher discount at these prices than the normal pre-pub discount for Mobile Ed courses so it will likely take a little longer than normal to get it over 100% and released in CP.

It is a difficult thing to determine the "right" bidding options to offer. One of the dangers of offering prices that are too low is that people often just choose the lowest and the resource stalls out in Community Pricing. On the other hand, only offering bidding options that are too high and it will stall out too.

I think the best way to get Faithlife to offer lower bidding options is simply to have more people bid $90. As $90 gains more traction lower options will probably be offered and yet the momentum will not be lost.

I picked up a few mobile ed. courses in the Christmas sale and have been very impressed so far. I would definitely like to see more courses coming through Community Pricing.

This is amazing.  I wonder that Logos doesn't do this with a lot more  Mobile Ed products.   The more people that get them and love them, the more folks like me get all excited and tell everybody else to buy.   I am quite a fan of Mobile Ed...at lower prices.

I guess somebody has to explain how community pricing works again, before people get too excited about the new, "lower" price. :)

I bid the lowest allowed on the chart, which is $80.  If enough people bid $80, we who bid (and all who bid higher) will get the resource for $80.  If bids cross 100% at the $100 mark, then all who bid $100 or more will get the resource for $100.

It is possible to change your bid higher or lower at any time until it crosses the line at $100.
