"Interesting Words" word bubble in Passage Guide
When I open a Passage Guide for "Colossians" and look at the "Interesting Words" graphic, GREET is in large letters but it only appears 5 times. "Christ" is in small letters even though it appears 25 times. I thought the whole point of those word bubbles was to quickly see, in graphic format, which words appear the most in a passage. Am I missing a setting?

It compares the words in your selected passage to the general usage of words. So a whole book confuses it.
A true Word Cloud feature would be nice, in addition to this, but you can use the "Copy Bible Verses" with "Bible Text Only" and paste into Wordle for a graphic for a book study.

Logos Now has a Concordance Feature that is very useful for this type of analysis. If you have Logos Now you should check it out. If not, I think there is a 30 day free trial.

I'm not sure what you mean by this? straight frequency rather than weighted list? We can get that data from a search or the concordance but not in visual format. Where do you envision using it?

Yes, straight frequency. E-Sword has it for every book of the Bible in a nice visual form. When beginning teaching through a book, it can serve as a straightforward anchor of key themes. Ordinarily, I don't mind going outside of the software for things like this (although Visual Copy and Proclaim are spoiling me); since Logos has information on not just words, but phrases (I assume that is how SmartSelect works and the phrase option when right clicking), something like that could be especially useful.
Compare these two I just made of Ephesians and 1 John (respectively), for example:
You can see how they each give you some at a glance information to help visualize the key themes of a book in the way that a concordance listing does not. If phrases were supported where we could see things like "In Christ" on Ephesians nice and big, so much the better. In teaching through Romans, I might want to show the differences in the sections of the book through three word clouds: 1-8, 9-11, 12-16. It isn't rigorous, but it is the kind of thing you can use as a cover for a printed bulletin or on a screen during a service.
I made both of those in Tagul, which has the convenient feature of letting you pick outline shapes (or even upload your own). So for 1 John, this might be even more helpful:

That is a pretty good outline of the book, I think. In contrast, Interesting Words is useless on a chunk of text like Romans 12-16

Prior versions of Logos had this word cloud feature. Logos 7 does not!
Can someone tell me why Logos 7 is regressing?

It is still there (and afaik it didn't change at all from prior versions), in the section "interesting words" of Passage Guide:

I know...I know...old post
BUT...this is the only one I could find concerning this feature.
Has it been replaced with "Topics" in L8?
I enjoyed using the passage guide and having a graphic of words in it being generated, but now it seems to be missing? Instead I only see the graphic for topics, which sends me to Naves or another topical resource as opposed to listing out the word usage in the passage.
Any word on this feature? Am I not looking in the right place?
