I have not been a faithful Lectionary user in the past, so I do not have a Layout screen customized for a good study of the Lectionary that might give me the most benefit. I am sure that there are many out there that use the Lectionary for their daily studies/devotions/sermon prep/etc..

I'm assuming you're thinking RCL daily and Sunday:
Close everything in your workspace. Click on the Lectionary heading on the left hand side. It will open with a layout similar to this which I have customized:
In the left hand panel I have added resource(s) of lectionary based homilies in my collection. I have left my top 5 Bibles (upper center) untouched. Bottom center originally shows the top commentary - I replace it with a study Bible and my favorite lectionary-based commentaries. Right side bar - I remove the cited by ... sometime would replace it with information ...
Then set the layout to you lectionary default.
I forgot to set the links sets which I would retain the same links but with the different resources as the default layout. If you have problems ask again.
Orthodox Bishop Hilarion Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."
Thank you very much. This has helped me immensely to get started.
As I mentioned yesterday, I appreciate your pointing me in the right in the right direction in getting started using the lectionary portion of Logos Now. Can your further share with me your favorite lectionary-based commentaries?
Feasting on the Word (12 vols.)
The Lectionary Commentary: Theological Exegesis for Sunday's Texts (3 vols.)
Preaching from the Lectionary: An Exegetical Commentary by Gerard S. Sloyan
Thank you very much. Unfortunately I only have "Feasting on the Word" in my Library. "Preaching from the Lectionary" looked good but I didn't have it either.
Hi MJ do you know if this functionality (to edit Homepage layouts) is only available in Logos/Verbum now? I have Verbum 6.10 SR-2 and don't see Homepage layouts under my Layouts window. This is a functionality I've wanted for a long time, but I'm hoping that I don't need to subscribe to Logos/Verbum Now to get it since I am just a novice Verbum user and can't really afford another monthly bill.
Thanks and God bless!
Jason
