Too funny. And of course the old stand by: "Did you know that the Apostle Paul came to the USA? He said that he was content in whatever state he was in."

Good one Anthony

Jesus might have been a Ford man, but the apostles all drove a Honda. Acts 2:1  says "they were all with one accord" Of course that is the KJV so it's official.Big Smile

Nah, that's too vague. It could be that he came to Mexico or some other country that has "states" too 馃槣

Well being a hard-core Canadian I didn't realize that there was any other place than the United State. After all, most, but not all Canadians think they're our big brother.

Perhaps, God favours Dodge pickups, because Moses' followers are warned not to go up the mountain,

And maybe one more LOL:

If you ever wanted to buy a Jeep, you may think twice before you do...

Since we are on this topic. See some of these older threads for examples of funny typos.

I mistakenly pasted the same link in twice when I meant to post two different ones. I edited my above post and added this one. https://community.logos.com/forums/t/78709.aspx

Ha! I suppose we'll see our fair share if we hang around long enough.

Just for fun n' frolic, I searched my library for the phrase "Ford Jesus". None of my Logos resources had it (small library), but two of my PBs had it:

  • A Divine Cordial - Thomas Watson   (BTW the Logos edition in a Pre-Pub collection ships soon)
  • Sermon #300 (1860, vol 6) "Spiritual Peace" - Spurgeon.

It would be interesting if the Logos editions of these have or will have the typo, indicating a common source for the foundational e-texts.

One Books.Logos.com hit: The Fathers of The English Church. As happens often, the scan is fine, but the OCR layer has the OCRpo.
