Tags vs. Labels in Logos 6 — What are they used for? What's the difference?
I've tried unsuccessfully to find a description of labels and tags in the Logos 6 support documentation. Maybe y'all can help.
There's a Logos 6 feature that enables me to add a tag or a label to an individual note but I don't know what they do and what the difference is between them. I'm familiar with tagging and labeling generally (outside Logos) but not sure what their purpose is in Logos 6. Labels can also have attributes, too, which adds another layer of complexity and confusion.
An example may help: I have a notes document called "Apologetics" where I'm collecting arguments for the faith on various subjects such as Mary, Church tradition, the sacraments, etc.
What would I be able to do with, for example, a tag for "tradition" vs. a label for "tradition"? I also see that a label can have attributes. What do those enable me to do? What might be an example of an attribute for the "tradition" label example?
I already know the mechanics of adding tags, labels, and attributes to a note. I'm wondering now how they could be useful.
Thanks!

Simplified:
Labels are a way of adding metadata /classifications to resources e.g. Faithlife uses Labels for journal articles to add author, title, Bible references or Labels for sermons to a author, occasion, title, Bible references ... You might use them to identify parables and add speaker, topic, ... or to provide your own classification for psalms etc.
Tags are a way of adding metadata / classifications to your notes and clippings.
Community tags in resources are a way to add Biblical entity tags to resources where Faithlife has not tagged them.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thanks as always MJ.
So it seems like I'd want to use tags for my notes to add "categories" to them.
Once I add tags to my Notes, what am I able to do with them? Can I collect or view all notes with the same tag in a single place?

You can search for them as follows
Note that you cannot separate results for Notes and Clippings

Thanks Dave. That's helpful, and far less arcane than some other aspects of this software.

When would you use a label vs. a tag? What's the difference exactly? Thanks.

A tag is one dimensional i.e. provides a single value/attribute/classification. Labels can provide a classification (label name) with multiple attributes, each with multiple possible values.
This applies a label via a Highlighting style (Label Personality). It has three attributes and the first has a default value of "Jesus" that can be changed when the style is applied. You can search (Bible or Basic) a resource for the label {Label Personality}, or a specific combination {Label Personality WHERE Name = Jesus}
See https://wiki.logos.com/Search_HELP#Labels for more.
Labels can also be added to existing Notes.
