Mike,

Please leave it up to others to find great deals on eBay on their own. It is not proper use of the forums to post an ad or link to one here.

I've seen posts before promoting Surface Pro tablet deals and nobody has said anything about it.  I sure miss SuperTramp, he was more cool about certain stuff. Anybody seen him? :)

I don't miss Souper Tramp so much. But his previous profile picture was much better.

I dunno Paul... As much as I liked his dog, Jesus is pretty cool.

Show me an actual picture of Jesus ... Not a cartoon, And I'll consider revisiting my  position.

Tell me, Josh. Do the snapshots you see in Mark look like the cartoon in Matthew's profile picture? ... With the light saber hat and the Gucci sandals?

By the way. You can find Gucci sandals on ebay  Stick out tongue >>>  http://www.ebay.com/itm/NIB-GUCCI-EMILY-CAMEL-TAN-LEATHER-GOLD-HORSEBIT-TASSELS-THONG-FLATS-SANDALS-36-/361528339652?hash=item542cc4acc4:g:Qa0AAOSwrklVG03J

Its actually not a lightsaber hat, its probably closer to a pie tin - its a creative rendition of eastern orthodox art. Which is interesting on its own because from my limited perspective sacred eastern art hasn't changed a lot over the years.

You must have looked really closely to discern sandals. The computer has more relevance than does the sandals.

Reverse perspective, also called inverse perspective, inverted perspective, divergent perspective, or Byzantine perspective, is a form of perspective drawing in which the objects depicted in a scene are placed between the projective point and the viewing plane. This has the visual effect that objects farther away from the viewing plane are drawn as larger, and closer objects are drawn as smaller, in contrast to the more conventional linear perspective for which closer objects appear larger.[3] Lines that are parallel in three-dimensional space are drawn as diverging against the horizon, rather than converging as they do in linear perspective.[1] Technically, the vanishing points are placed outside the painting with the illusion that they are "in front of" the painting.

The name Byzantine perspective comes from the use of this perspective in Byzantine and Russian Orthodox icons; it is also found in the art of many pre-Renaissance cultures, and was sometimes used in Cubism and other movements of modern art, as well as in children's drawings.[3][4] The reasons for the convention are still debated among art historians; since the artists concerned in forming the convention did not have access to the more realistic linear perspective convention it is not clear how deliberate the effects achieved were.

Seems to me that Matthew is awfully flat ... he had no perspective ...Big SmileWink

Flat?!  I was going for a Byzantine perspective.  I think I achieved that. Wink

Besides, I got more comments on my new avatar in this one thread than I got for my puppy dog.

And as a byproduct, you kept this thread and the included eBay links at the top of the heap for several days. I'm sure eBay appreciates the extra views.

Sorry, but I don't see a disposable aluminum pie tin as a great upgrade from a light saber hat.

Undoubtedly, Josh has the best approach. ... Build a picture of God by searching the Scriptures for passages that refer to Him ... in all His forms. I am an adherent to that approach. The thing is, I have never found a passage that portrays the Savior in a tin foil hat. Therefore, that depiction just doesn't work for me.

While I agree with MCJ that it is not the most appropriate link, I think this will be a real blessing for those wanting a more affordable iPad Pro 12.9.... I hope everyone who wants one can take advantage of this massive sell off. 9.7 inch is plenty big enough for me.

Logical as always, Dan.

A large percentage of the threads here are centered around minimum/acceptable hardware requirements for Logos. Once a certain machine has been deemed worthy and it is offered at a good price, I think one should be applauded for pointing it out ... not reprimanded. It's not like the OP was promoting pretentious footwear. ... Or competing software.
