This crash occurred when using a right-click on a word in the NASB 95 to open the menus.

David,

I've added these logs to your others for development to review. To try to rule out other programs that may be conflicting, such as the Xion Media Player that another user had to remove, could you unload the Startup Items in System Configuration, reboot, and work in Logos 4 to see if the crashes still occur?

You may already know how to do this, but just in case you don't, close all your apps, type 'msconfig' in the Run or Start Search field and press Enter. In the System Configuration dialog, on the General tab, change Normal startup to Selective startup and uncheck 'Load startup items'. Click OK and restart PC when prompted. You could choose Diagnostic startup instead, however, it can be easier to narrow down the problem if you eliminate startup items first, then you can unload non-Microsoft services later if necessary.

Another troubleshooting test would be to work offline. Hold the Ctrl key down when you open Logos 4, keeping it held down until the Sign In window appears, then click on Work Offline.

Thanks,
Melissa

Development would also like to know what anti-virus or Internet security software is installed. And, if the program had been running without problem previously, was another program installed or updated prior to these issues?

It's interesting you say this as I have been using off-line mode from time to time in the past and present. I have never had a crash in this mode. I haven't said anything before since I wanted to give it a sufficient test. It was, however, the next thing about which I had planned to post.

I have been running MSE - Microsoft Security Essentials - for about 5-6 months now. I changed from AVG to MSE just before the private beta testing period began. I have not upgraded or installed any program in the last few weeks other than perhaps an MS security update.

Hi Melissa,

I just wanted to let you know that I ran B12 in off-line mode all day yesterday & it didn't crash once.
