Explore the Pauline letters like never before with the Parallel Passages in the Pauline Letters resource. We've thematically organized Paul's letters for quick comparison and in-depth study. Explore the differences in each of the Pauline Greeting formulas; find where Paul shares his longing to visit the Romans, Corinthians, Thessalonians, and Philemon; or see everywhere Paul talks about the relationship between Adam and Christ. If you're studying Paul, this is an essential resource to quickly see and compare his perspective on a range of specific topics.
Open your library and search Parallel Passages in the Pauline Letters. Open the resource, expand the table of contents to expose the topical arrangement of this resource, and start your exploration of the Pauline letters.
Hi Jacob
Thanks for flagging this - looks like a very useful resource.
I'm intrigued as to why this was done as a resource as opposed to an Interactive. That could have been very useful in focusing down into particular areas.

Hi Graham.
Parallel Passages resources also have capability to be used in the Parallel Passages section of the Passage Guide. An interactive does not allow that level of functionality within a guide. The guide functionality seemed an important thing to support.
The same underlying data can (at some future point) also be used for an interactive. So, in the longer run, it's really more of a both-and instead of an either-or.
There are also some issues with a set of topically oriented parallels like this and the current interactive model. The current interactive model functions best with a maximum of four columns; this data could possibly have up to 13 columns. There are interface/display issues that, while not optimal, are easier to cover in a resource than they would be in an interactive.
So an interactive is a future possibility. Especially if someone suggests it on UserVoice and gets some votes.

That makes a lot of sense and its inclusion in the Parallel Passages section is very nice
I've been begging for Pauline Parallels for a decade ... persistence pays. Thank you.

This resource is superb, Jacob!
Thrilled to hear that! Rick will be happy to know that it is well received.

Both me and my co-author (who did the majority of the work outside of the Pastoral Epistles). Thanks!
Why are First and Second Timothy not in Logos.
Because it is a special Verbum feature?
Seriously, can you be a bit more specific about what you are asking?
No! Why are not Rick's books on 1 and 2 Timothy a resource in Logos.
Arthur Boose: No! Why are not Rick's books on 1 and 2 Timothy a resource in Logos.
Hi Art.
Those books (see my signature below) are published in print by Appian Way Press (http://appianwaypress.com). It's possible that Faithlife will license them and put them on prepub at a later date.
I don't think I can wait that long, looking forward to reading them.
First month in Logos now and i discovered this resource, superb
Thanks Robyn! Glad you like it.

There are two books: Parallel Passages in the Pauline Letters and Parallel Passages in the Pastoral Epistles. I've got them both in Logos, but can't find the Pastoral Epistles volume on the website anywhere. The file is dated 2014.
