I agree. It would be nice if the issues went back a bit further, but what is offered is good. It includes a free year of the print edition, as well.

I can get rid of the older issues (although they are on line with a subscription)
Adding the year to an existing subscription should be easy: "Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email within 24 hours with instructions on redeeming this offer."

I wonder if you can add the free year to your existing subscription, as I suspect a lot of us already subscribe (I already have an iPad subscription which I've just renewed for another year).

In addition I would like to know how many back issues are contained in the current offer on Pre-Pub.

I wonder if the print offer only applies in North America, or if it applies this side of the Atlantic in Ireland too? Would a digital subscription come with the year's print subscription?

Would it simply not include all the issues from 2006 - 2015? Or did you mean the exact number?

This Pre-Pub comprises 113 issues. And yes, you will be able to tack the free subscription on to your existing subscription.

Nice! Looking forward to throwing away all those past issues.

Hi John,
International users will be able to have a one-year digital subscription. Users in the US can opt for a print + digital subscription or just digital.
Hope that helps!

Hi Matthew, does this offer include those with electronic subscriptions through iTunes?

Hi Daniel,
Yes, that's great. Thanks. Digital is my preferred way to read anyway.

Hey Logos - your data is unclear. it says both 2006-2016 and Christianity Today 1994–2016.
which is it?

The subscription can only be redeemed directly through the CT website.

2006–2015 is correct duration.

Thanks for the conformation Daniel. I was a little concerned the p&p would be more costly than the subscriptions as with bsm :-) This does look a great deal

Really good to see.

That's a really good one. $10 per year, or $0.83 per individual issue (or as low as $0.76 if you count in the PDF issues from the complimentary subscription).
Pre-ordered, though I'm getting concerned about my Logos budget with all the exciting stuff that's due this year (German base package, great books of the western world, Logos 7 (probably), the Sherlock Holmes collection, and now the CT package... ouch.......)

Will this get upgrades in the future?

1000+ issues 1956 to 2016 are now on pre pub for $100.

Much better deal than the previous one (which I thankfully cancelled last minute, before it went live).

I own the product in question and am seeing a dynamic pricing for this one you pointed out. Thanks for pointing it out

I was starting to get confused with all the different options so, just in case someone else is also confused, it looks like there are (at least) three different products:
Christianity Today: 2006-2015 https://www.logos.com/product/80387/christianity-today
Christianity Today: 1996-2015 https://www.logos.com/product/129339/christianity-today
Christianity Today: 1956-2016 https://www.logos.com/product/144587/christianity-today
Where I get confused is that I already own the 2006-2015 set so I get dynamic pricing on the other two. I also already placed a pre-order for 1996-2015 but haven't paid for it yet because it hasn't been produced. Then I went and placed a pre-order for 1956-2015.
Here is my question: Is the order I placed for 1996-2015 giving me a lower dynamic price for 1956-2016 (even though I haven't paid for it yet?) Is there a reason to keep the order from 1996-2015 and not just outright cancel it since I'll be buying 1956-2016?

Wow. What confusion. I did not even know about the 1996-2015. It shows a dynamic price for me but I already pre ordered the 1956-2016.

I would not expect having the smaller grouping on pre-order is impacting the dynamic price for anything. My price for 1956-2016 is about $86 with dynamic pricing for my already owned 2005-2015 bundle. So, just to be sure, if that's what you're seeing for 1956-2016 with dynamic pricing, cancel 1996-2015.

Just as I'd expect. You can safely cancel the smaller bundle and buy the larger one.

Quick note on this: anyone who placed their pre-order before the price drop will have their order changed to the lower price point automatically. You should receive an email notification at some point over the next few days.

I noticed that the 1956-2016 bundle says it contains no images under "Overview" but the smaller bundles never say that. I've 2006-2015 which have images. I wonder if there is a catch there since the price is very low.

Thanks for pointing that out. It was an oversight on our part. None of the volumes contain images (for various reasons primarily relating to rights). We'll get that updated.

Does that mean my present 2006-2015 bundle will be stripped of its images in future?
Thanks.

I'm a smidge confused. Will the 2006-2015 bundle contain images from now on or are they being removed. I understand they aren't in the other bundles but since they were in this bundle to start will they stay or will they be removed from future shipments?

Just a comment for the future--in considering the history of evangelicalism as reflected by CT, the ads themselves are very helpful. Ads are a sort of artifact showing what was considered important to the church at a particular stage of its existence.

I'm bummed that this version, which I had put an order in on, was pulled:
- Christianity Today: 1996-2015 https://www.logos.com/product/129339/christianity-today
It was, for me, a better deal than the 1956–2016 bundle. The price was lower, and you got the more recent issues. Given that I have the 2006-2015 bundle through my base package, I just don't see spending the money to go all the way back to 1956.

There is lots of excellent stuff back there.

What about the cartoons? Are they included?

No doubt. But we all have to make choices about where we spend our money. The smaller package made sense for me - the larger one, not so much.

Just as well to have text-only, as 2006-2015 is when the kewl pastors/writers started wearing funny hair.

Just thought I should clarify the small print on the bottom - this deal only applies to the USA.

"International customers will receive a one-year digital subscription to Christianity Today."
Which is even better, since digital subscriptions usually come with archive access, so I can hopefully download the full PDF versions and therefore get all the images and ads of the past issues, which are missing from the Logos version.

Is this not included in the Master Journal Bundle 4.1?

The 2006-2015 bundle will always have images. The others won't.
Just to further clarify:
If I purchase the 1956-2016 package, will the issues from 2006-2015 contain images, or is every issue within that bundle stripped?
