Since downloading Calvin 500, my indexer keeps attempting to index upon each boot of the computer but it soon fails. Is there something I can do manually?
Issue the command "rebuild index" in the command line. It should fix your problem by building a new index.
If that crashes the next thing to try would be to delete the folder that contains the index files. C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\<random>\LibraryIndex
Also, be sure you're not low on disk space.
When I give this command it just searches for rebuild index. It does not start tthe indexer
After typing rebuild index in command area:
Tools should appear in drop down list, can click Rebuild Index (below Tools and above Search).

All that appears in my drop down is search for's.
Wonder about Program Settings - Language ?
Personally using English Language in Program Settings so command rebuild index has Tools option:
If I do Rebuild Library Index it has the tools option but not if I do only rebuild index. English is the language I use as well
(Add in) I just checked it after running the library index and now it has the tools option for the index itself.

Thanks for update [:D]
Observation: Rebuild Index is short for 2 commands: Rebuild Bible Index and Rebuild Library Index.
Why did you need to rebuild the index? See http://wiki.logos.com/Windows_Troubleshooting if you need further guidance.
