I have gotten a consistent crash this morning when trying to open the Babylonian Talmud.

My steps: I ran a passage guide on Gal 2:15-21. In the Ancient Literature section is a reference to the Babylonian Talmud. Every time I click on it Logos crashes.

Logs: I'm posting my logs here per this pageFor some reason I couldn't attach the zip file which contained the logs. They are available here.

The Ber.63A link? If so, as you can see, it works for me.

What version of Logos SW are you running and on which platform?

Sorry I can't access your logs from there. Please try uploading them again using the paperclip icon.

Logos Bible Software 6.12.0.0027

Mac OS X 10.11.5

Attached is the screenshot I get when I try to upload the logs zip file with the paperclip icon. Do you know a workaround?

How big is the zip file? Very large files don't work.

If large, try just uploading the logos.log file separately.

EDIT: And can a Mac user try to reproduce this please?

That would explain it

Michael Burer:
Logos Log file uploaded separately.

Thanks.

Hopefully someone will be able to work out what is going on from that.

And, hopefully, another MAC user will be able to check if they see the same thing.

I don't think I own it. Do you have a link to the specific resource? Is there a certain passage? Does it crash only when you open from the guide, or from the library as well?

FWIW: I think this is the relevant info:

OK. I just ran that guide and clicked on that link... but I don't own any resources with that reference.

Checked mine and it works fine on Mac. (Clicking on link to b. Ber. 63A in Passage Guide for Galatians 2:15-21 will open the reference to the Babylonian Talmud.)

Thank you.

Michael - what is the "Support Info" for your copy of the Talmud? (Click the "i" symbol on the resource and scroll down to the bottom

My info appears to be same as what you displayed. Screen shot attached. Interestingly, I still cannot open the file. Everytime I try to open it, even from within the Library, Logos crashes. I got this by selecting the info panel in the library, not in the resource directly.

There must be something going on under the hood that's bigger than this problem, as Logos crashes when I try to open most every resource. Any advice on whether reinstalling would be wise, and if so, the best procedure for doing so?

Good to know it isn't specific to the resource

I wouldn't reinstall, hopefully someone from Faithlifr will see this and comment

I just confirmed that it is working correctly for me.

Have tried contacting Customer Support?

I have been in touch with tech support for the last few days. Apparently this is a known issue affecting other users. They are working on an update which will fix the problem. Thanks for the offer of help!

I've already emailed Michael, but we just released 6.12 SR-1. We are hoping this fixes this issue but were unable to verify it.

I've updated to 6.12 SR-1 and everything is working fine so far. I'll work with it over the weekend to be sure.
