BUG drag-and-drop reference fails to overlay prior value

Yes, I'm trying to find new functions ...
1. Open a Passage Guide to a Reference of your choice
2. Open Factbook to an entry with a reasonable amount of data.
3. In the content section of an article of a resource in the Dictionaries section, try to drag and drop a Biblical reference to the Passage Guide Reference Box
4. BUG: adds reference to existing reference rather than replacing reference.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

If this were to be fixed/implemented anywhere an indexed reference is entered, it would open up quite a bit of functionality. Typically, in Windows, you can drag selected text to an open app in the Taskbar, still holding the mouse button; the app appears and then you can drop the text in a dropable location. While typing it manually isn't particularly onerous, the workflow while reading outside of Logos would be kind of slick.

A case has been created and the team will consider wither to implement this.

I should add that in addition to overwriting the current reference. ideally, the drag and drop event should trigger the equivalent of the Enter key.

Bump.
Even though no promises were made for L7.0, let's hope it makes it into a revision cycle in the near future. (Both the drag & drop, and the Enter trigger from the drop event.)

Robert,
We do have a case for this, but I have no idea when/if it will be implemented.
