Hey All,

I am trying to put in a youtube video, and after I add it and preview it, it shows the whole youtube page not just the actual video. How do I fix this? I am pulling the video URL code but it is displaying the whole page with comments and side bar? HELP!

I believe Proclaim automatically reformats pasted YouTube URLs to full screen embed links. A workaround is to enter the URL manually, or paste in the incomplete URL and fix it up manually.

I don't understand...I have not had this problem before, and have done many. Please detail your solution as I have tried everything I know.

What's the link you're trying to use?

I just realized I misread your original question. I thought you wanted the entire page to show, not just the fullscreen video. Sounds like the link is not being formatted correctly. If you provide the link you're trying to use I can test it out here. Sorry for the confusion.

If you navigate that link in your browser, then paste the "watch" link into Proclaim (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgxdfYEkoqw&feature=youtu.be) it should work like you're expecting.

Proclaim will automatically convert this link to the following "embed" format - https://www.youtube.com/embed/MgxdfYEkoqw?autoplay=1&feature=youtu.be which can also be accessed via the share tab in YouTube

I'll look into supporting auto embed conversion of the URL format you posted for a future release.

Thank you. Is there something I can do for next time? Or do I need to contact someone?

For now just make sure you're pasting the "watch" link into Proclaim. This is the link that you'll see in your browser's location bar when viewing on YouTube.

This issue has been fixed and will ship in the next couple weeks.
