Hello everyone.

I am having an issue with PBB as it relates to tagging a specific book (Deuteronomy). Whenever I place a scripture from Deuteronomy in the book I'm building it doesn't get tagged if I use the abbreviated form of the book. For example if I put: Deu. or Deuter. 1:3, it doesn't get tagged. But if I put Deuteronomy 1:3, it gets tagged.

I have tried putting a space after the colon, same no tagging result. I've also removed the period after the abbreviated form of Deuteronomy yet still the same result.

Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong here?

I don't have the "official" list of abbreviations in front of me, but I don't recognize either of those. In the literature I read, typically the abbreviations would be either Dt. or Deut.

You can use a label to make a (visible) reference as abbreviated as you desire e.g. [[Deuter. 1:3 >> Bible:Dt 1:3]] or [[1:3 >> Bible:Dt 1:3]]

That's the work-around I am using Dave. I was just wanting to know why it's not auto tagging Deuteronomy as it does all the other scriptures. Thanks anyways bro.

Dt. and Deut. works, Thanks bro. I have also seen that Dt. xxxi doesn't work but Dt. 31 does. So I think I've got my head around it now. If I use the roman numerals, as the book I am building, it has to include the verse otherwise I use the Arabic numerals. I have also seen that Dt. xiv-xv works as well.  Thanks again alabama24.

I looked for a list of "official" abbreviations but couldn't find one. Tongue Tied

There is this

I had the same issue with Deu 7.12, it doesn't recognize it. But if I type Deu 7.12 or Deu 7 12 and hit enter in a Bible, that little window, don't know the term, it does go to the right place.
