I am compiling a personal book, and according to what I understand of the bible field tag, I use it to tag a quote from the bible for example: "{{bible-on}}Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer;{{bible-off}}"

However, when I use it this way I keep getting this warning message: "[Warning] Text in 'bible' field but this resource is not a Bible." So is this ok or am I using this field tag incorrectly?

Ok. So, for bible text in your personal books, How do you tag them?

unless it's a special lectionary like the Daily Text/Watchwords, I don't.

You need the Field in a Bible otherwise you can't see the Bibletext in the Textcomparison Tool. If you don't create it as "Bible" it does not work.

Thanks Sascha. I will have to strip them out of my book.

Just search for {{field-on:Bible}} replace with (leave empty)

and

saerch for {{field-off:Bible}} replace with (leave empty)
