Kevin A. Purcell:
glad you didn't, but you can never be too careful when people are reading instead of hearing your town and seeing your facial expressions

You got a noisy town?

I think I found a pattern in the dog smiley. Whenever I try to add it to the very end of a post it does not appear ion the forum. If I have text after the dog, it shows up.     At least it seems that is the pattern.

Ooops. I put two dogs in the above sentence & neither one show!

If you resize the window it will show up. For some reason, there are no scroll bars, even when all the smilies don't fit in the window.

Perhaps the part of the smiley window that doesn't show is the ... wait for it ... doghouse.

Anywho, straight from muppet labs, here is an old-school "dog smiley" substitute:

    .___
  __| _/____ ____
 / __ |/ _ \ / ___\
/ /_/ ( <_> ) /_/ >
\____ |\____/\___ /
     \/ /_____/
Have fun. Don't forget to bookmark

Then again, you can always do a screen capture of the "dog smiley" from the pop-up smileys window, save it as a .gif file, and then post it here using the paperclip "Insert Attachments/Media" icon (I don't feel like taking the time to make the background transparent, but I could):

Did it work?

There should be one before and after the above line.

Nope.

It no more works than mine does here.

FYI One after each of the lines above.

[!] [@] [£] [$] [%] Cake Star [(] [)]

Now, isn't that interesting? I've typed [shift-character] for each of the keys from 1-0. They all show up except [shift-7]! Mmn!

Yes! DG!

Two sermons done, orders of service completed, children's address ready. Just relaxing before I prepare the Prayer Diary for this evening's Prayer Meeting.
