ESV Missing from Bible Browser

ESV was an option in the Bible Browser but now it is not included. I noticed that the ESV was updated today. I wonder if this has something to do with it.

Confirmed I had noticed this and was going to post about it also.

Yes - I think it must be something to do with the update.
LEB and RSV,CE are also missing from the tool and they were updated as well.

Bible Browser fetches results from a Faithlife server; if the server is using a different version of the Bible than your computer, then results will be incorrect or misaligned (as show in this screenshot: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/129323/840733.aspx#840733). These updated Bibles will be temporarily unavailable in Bible Browser until the server data is updated.

Is there a time-frame of this server update? It sees a little ill-timed to use the ESV in the training video and then for it to be suddenly unavailable for use. Not wanting to come across as rude, but that was one of the big selling points for me to move to Logos Now.

Bradley,
Is consideration being given as to how to handle this in the future? This seems to be a fragile state of affairs. Even if you update the server's version at the same moment the new version is first made available for download by customers, it sounds like there will be incorrect results for customers who have not yet downloaded the new version. Should the server be able to handle current and one previous version (n and n-1), picking the version that a specific user has at the moment?
Just thinking out loud...

I just wish they would make it available offline

This is how we plan to handle that situation.
(The problem here is that the latest version of the ESV wasn't added to Bible Browser quickly enough.)

One partial solution is to use the Concordance Tool. It works similarly to the Bible Browser and you can use it offline.

Thank you Jon I think I'll try that. I haven't had great luck with the bible browser so I might go that route. Today I was using the NASB and clicked on the book of revelation and then church in the book of revelation. The browser lined me up somewhere in Acts and I had to scroll the whole way down to get there. I would think it would just show revelation but in my case it did not so I'll wait to the bugs get worked out

It would help if you could post screen shots of problems - it helps tweak the directions when it is user error and with creating bug reports when it is a genuine problem.

Sure thing. I open bible browser, I click on Bible books, New Testament, Revelation and then that is set. Next I click on People, A Church and the picture is what comes up. You would think it would line me up with revelation but it starts me at Matthew. Not a huge issue but it should start at revelation.

Mattillo, I was able to reproduce your issue and have created a case to fix it.
