Can someone explain how to search forums? When I try to search for a topic in the forums, I get some of the most convoluted results. Please direct me to a web-page for Logos that explains search.
I find Google search returns give more accurate data on Logos forums than the Logos search box. So most of the time when I need to find something beyond a one word search term, I open a clean Google search browser page in Chrome and hope I get some usable results. I should not have to be a computer programmer to use a Logos forum search box.
Many of us find a google search is best - see https://wiki.logos.com/Using_the_Forum#Searching_the_forum_using_Google for some guidance into how to use it.

I go to google, add "site:community.logos.com" (without ".") and add whatever I want to search for to the end of the search string - and I usually find what I want.
Thanks Graham and Paul.
This makes the search feature work for me.

Same search syntax works with Duck Duck Go.

I use this feature often enough in Chrome that I found it useful to create custom search engines. You can see how to do that here.
For example, I use the keyword "lf" for "logos forums" and create a search engine thus:
https://community.logos.com/search/SearchResults.aspx?q=%s
Thanks Graham. I find that like the original poster, using the forum search isn't much help.

Yes, Google works much better.
And Logos isn't the only forum that suffers from this problem. Many do.
If like me you search the forums so irregularly that you have trouble remembering how you did it last time, I posted a memory aid here that leads you right to the search:
