BUG? - Copy Bible Verses
In L6, I was able to use Ctrl+Alt+B to bring up my "Copy Bible Verses" box with the text field highlighted. After typing in my text, I used Alt+P to paste the Bible passage into my Word 2016 document. With L7, I can no longer get Alt+P to paste the passage into Word. The Copy and Paste button works, but not the keyboard shortcut. Any ideas?

I never used this hotkey before, but I can confirm it does not work for me either (Windows 10, Word 2016, Logos 7).

The alt-c / alt-p shortcuts were disabled due to some incompatibilities with other features such as Sermon Editor. We'll look at coming up with a solution that allows for both.

Thanks for looking for a different option, but too bad it was disabled. I use this all the time in sermon prep. My fingers naturally use the shortcut to insert text.

Was this documented anywhere? I missed it.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Yes and no: It was documented in the SR-1 release notes for 7.0 (The entry for Copy Bible Verses). But it wasn't made clear that we fixed one issue by removing other functionality.
We'll watch more closely for that in the future.

Just tested the 7.0 SR-2 release. Still broken.

Are there other hotkeys you could use that would make it function as it did before Logos 7?

For what's worth, this is my (somewhat clumsy, but still relatively quick) method of inserting Bible text into my Word document, utilising the Smart Tags feature...
- Type bible reference
- Ctr-Shift + up cursor
- Menu button (or Shift + F10)
- Up cursor x3 (to Additional Actions)
- Right cursor x1
- Down cursor x2 (to Copy Bible Verses)
- Enter (opens Copy Bible Verses panel)
- Either click Copy and Paste, or Tab across and hit ente
However, I now much prefer the Sermon Editor method - type reference > hit enter > BOOM!

This should now be fixed in 7.1 RC-1.

I cannot get to the 7.1 RC-1 yet. Will it be available soon?

copying bible verses should not be this complex everyone....
this is a primary function and should be the simplest thing anyone first using Logos can decipher in seconds imho.

Figured out hope to update to RC-1. Thanks for fixing it. So much better! [:D]
