Sermon Editor: How to change bible translation easily

Tested the Sermon Editor today, and it looks like a really great tool! However as a user of the minority Nynorsk written Norwegian I often need the far more widely used bokmål translation for sermons. Is there any way to change the Bible translation within a Sermon Document so that it doesn't display your highest prioritized Bible? It would be even more better if you could change all the references at once, perhaps with a separate box under "Sermon Info"?

There is no way to do that right now. Sermon editor uses the preferred bible you have selected.

Thanks Fredc.
This seems like a pretty important feature to add doesn't it? Probably useful for a lot of people other than me.

Definitely, especially when an alternative translation occasionally has better wording than our default translation.

You can use copy and paste to use the translation of your choice. Just make sure when you right click a verse in your desired translation, that you select the reference option. You don't want to just copy the text but the reference. Then, when you paste into sermon editor, it will paste in your desired translation along with corresponding slides.

Thank you Tim. That works pretty well.
Then it's just left to hope they will add the ability to choose at a later point. There are probably a lot of pastors and missionaries like me who has to juggle translations on a regular basis. The best would be if we could type in several translations (for bilingual churches).
In the meantime: There is no way to write a reference that would input a different translation from your highest prioritized?

As far as I know at this point in time, no. There is no way to do this. From what I've read on the forums though about it, I've gotten the impression that they plan to add this type of feature set in the future. The impression I've gotten is that this is a brand new feature still that they have a lot of plans to improve over time. Patience is needed in the meantime.

Just from using the tool my impression too is that this has more potential and was a bit of a work in progress. It's still very helpful in it's current state.
So, Faithlife people, is this a feature that is on the current roadmap?
What I think would be a good implementation would be the ability to change all references from an unspecified version at once in the Sermon Info tab. (By this I mean change all verses that weren't actively specified to be from a certain version earlier). It would also be good to be able to change one verse in the edit tab.

We plan to add version switching very soon.

Were you referring to the ability to change a version or to change all versions at one go? The first is available:

I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I'm using this feature all the time. Would still love to switch all references at once though!

How do you do that? I can't seem to figure it out.

As per my screenshot, click on the blue link indicating the Bible and choose a different one from the dropdown menu.
