The two Community Pricing projects I am most excited about, Catena Aurea by Aquinas and Barnes Notes on the OT and NT, are both wallowing in a pool of disinterest!

I feel some pain with you brother. I too would love to see that Aquinas set come to fruition. I am maxed out there. I am in on the Barnes Notes as well. I am not maxed out but I am certainly well above the middle of the road there.
COME ON PEOPLE LET'S GET AQUINAS PUBLISHED!! I am feeling like my heart is [U].
William
my bid for Aquinas is set at $40.
I'm in exactly the same boat as William (maxed out on Aquinas and well above the peak on Barnes but not willing to go higher on it). I wouldn't call 60% (where Catena Aurea is sitting now) a "pool of disinterest" -- it's usually not much beyond that point when things really begin to pick up steam and race through the finish line. So let's see a few more people jumping in on it and get it to that "picking up steam" point.
Dominick
I must be a loser too! I bid for these ages ago and I am surprised they haven't just taken off!
IMHO they are both great value and look likely to be steals at the peak bids: $20 for the 8-volume Aquinas and $30 for the 14-volume Barnes. That's $50 for both.
C'mon, folks! Be a loser too! Place a bid today. [st] [W] [N]
Every blessing
Alan (A Good Loser [A])
I too am maxed out on Aquinas.
Logos, I will up my bid if you modify the graph to allow for it!
I've bid high for Aquinas, but not Barnes. I wonder: perhaps there IS interest in Barnes, but the estimated cost of production makes the bids made not as noticeable on the graph.
I am ALSO eagerly awaiting Muller's production. that sucker is just teasing us, dancing around the 100 percent line . . . I have maxed that one.

This is indeed that case. According to Bob P. more people have bid on Barnes than any other project, it is just that they are not willing to pay very much for it.
I am so disappointed that Catena Aurea by Aquinas is not doing better.
Let's just start a new thread once a month or so to attract those who are new. It's worth a try.
dare I ask, who, what and why..
I dont get very inspired by the write up.. sell it to me..
In the meantime some much newer titles have surged ahead! "The Gospel Mystery of Santification" was only added last week and is already above 80% at $8. I don't know whether that's an indication of the leanings of the entire Logos userbase or just the most active ones - or maybe the ones looking for a cheap deal
I should point out that both titles you mentioned have experienced an increase in interest over the last month - Catena Aurea in particular. I believe it is due to the promotion activity on the boards by various people. Having a few titles actually get to 100% helps too. I would agree that some sort of regular mention on the boards would be helpful - and more than just "it's cheap - go bid" provide some more rationale beyond that.

My interest is because you get a commentary of writings by the early Church Fathers, MANY of them!, on all 4 Gospels. It is public domain, so here is John 1:1 - 1:2 just so you can see what you get as an example; I find it really nice to see what little nuggests the ECF had to say:
