I understand your frustration with the formatting issues and agree they should be fixed but FL don’t ask users for their opinion on these issues they go by the files provided to them. It has nothing to do with these being SDA resources, its all about the publishers files.
Fred Littlefield: It's 2020 now and no SDA International Commentary set in sight. Even if we had the text ready to go for Logos it would take them quite a while to make it available to Logos users. Actually, not meaning to be too pessimistic, I don't think that they put too much priority on our denomination. They still haven't fixed all the E. G. White Books. Some are still formatted in weird ways with hanging indent on each paragraph like in Patriarchs and Prophets and many other books. They said that that is the way they got the text so they left it that way. I don't see too many books printed or formatted that way so why didn't they ask if we really wanted them that way. We (some of us) have put in typo requests to have it fixed but they don't think that it is too big of a deal to have it fixed.

Doubt they have the license to make it available. They were supposed to make volume 1 available at this year's General Conference as far as I can remember. It is not available in print on Adventist Book Center, where I anticipate it will be posted initially.
Hope Logos can secure rights to publish. I do not see myself buying 50 or more volumes in paper. Takes up too much space, too heavy to ship and don't know if they will allow paying for the product over a year's period.

"The Speaker's Commentary", presents the best of 19th-century Anglican scholarship, having taken over 18 years to complete by a team of more than 30 scholars.
It could take a while if "The Speaker's Commentary" is an example of how long it takes to compleate a bible commentary.

Thanks David. Let's start writing Pacific Press asking for it to be made available in Logos.
Please add my name to the list when/if it happens.
I suspect the project may have been abandoned. I have not seen anything about it in any of the church publications.

I hope not. I am still hoping that it will make it's way into Logos.
A 'friend' said “I know that they are working on them.” He 'should' know.
Will try to get better information out of him directly when I see him next. He just had a promotion at the Union level.
My Avondale Seminary lecturer said they would officially release the new SDA Commentary at the next General Conference Session, which was delayed by two years to June 6-11, 2022 due to COVID-19 impacts. Thanks for the update Luke. Welcome to the forums. Now if a deal can be worked out to get it in Logos. Not only am I not planning to go to the Genera Conference, it would be expensive to lug all of those books home on a plane. Unless I win the lottery which I do not play.

So how many total volumes will be in the set? If 44, like the ECC, and at $30 per that comes to $1300.
Out of my range when the current, out of date, set was selling for $145. [At this time will only buy Danial and Revelation]
Also my local church would not buy a set for the church at that price. [Who is their target audience?]

Lottery winnings are tythed at 25%.
Spoke to a Union president today. His wife set up our Festival of Hymns that we celebrated today.
He stated that they were still saying that it was being worked on but he had seen nothing to back that up.
Thanks for the update.
