I'm in the planning stages of an OT survey and would like to highlight the theme of God's global mission in the OT. What resources would you recommend and why?
Thanks in advance!

Christopher J. H. Wright, The Mission of God’s People: A Biblical Theology of the Church’s Mission.
Why? Just look at the table of contents to see the breadth of his vision. This book is the practical outworking of his earlier larger and more theoretical theology of the OT called The Mission of God.

I read it in Seminary and liked how it develops a scriptural theology of missions, starting with the nature of God itself, then showing through the old and new testament how God always had missions in mind. It shows that the roots of NT evangelism and missions are laid down in the OT etc.
