It looks there's no Catholic Studies expansion package yet. Is there any chance that we'll see a Library Expansion akin to the old "Logos 6 Catholic Studies Bundle" in the future?
Too many old books from early 1700-1800s & not enough "recent" books for me.
Meh

Someone raised the point that it's become harder to discount/bundle some of the more recent books.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

The theology bundles are extremely "meh". Denominational base packages provide a much better range of useful works.
Most of the stuff in the Logos 7 expansion bundles are just "bloat." Very few useful books in each bundle. But it also depends on what we are looking for. For example, the Theological Bundle S is well worth the price for the Theocratic Kingdom (3 vols). So the key is to look closely at what is being offered. It is worth your time to research the individual items in each bundle.

It's an extremely niche work useful primarily for people interested in 19th century dispensationalism. Even at that price, most people would be better served by other works--even if they want dispensationalism.
For me, this & Rushdoony () are the only significant sets I'd get with the XL package. Granted, I have a lot of theology works already. BUT for people looking to expand a base Logos library so that they have a well-rounded range of useful theology works--these bundles are are pretty much the opposite of that.
ETA: By way of contrast: I got the Logos 6 XL Theology Bundle: it had some filler, a good number of moderately to very useful volumes, and a great deal on Pannenberg's ST. Pannenberg! The present bundle doesn't have anything remotely comparable.
It's not merely a problem with 1700s and 1800s filler. In one bundle, FL included a cheaper 2003 edition of a book, instead of the more expensive revised 2006 edition.
Sadly disappointing this version, considering that the L6 bundles had a much better selection of books worth purchasing.

very good point. No reformed or baptist bundle?
Robert Peters: very good point. No reformed or baptist bundle?
It doesn't look like there are any denomination-focused expansion packs.

In L6, these were called topical bundles. In L7, they're no longer called topical bundles, but they still are topical in nature (at least to start), and there is a master bundle containing each topic's resources.
Whether FL will add denomination-based expansion packs under the same category as these is uncertain.

Why should there, when we already have denominational base packages?
A missiology expansion pack would have been interesting, or denominational expansion packs that have no base packages (such as Restoration Movement).

That was my thinking, however FL had offered denominational expansion bundles for L6.
I recall a Lutheran collection, but I believe only a couple of the denominations had them.
I imagine it was just another way for FL to sell resources that hadn't made it in to their denominational library.
There's a maths problem in Church Fathers S...

The L7 base packages have that same problem, and have since launch. They say dynamic pricing is working and seem uninterested in fixing the total value and are committed to showing partial collections, no matter how little is included (the cause of the discrepancy). Doing the math on our own is an inconvenience, but I would not hold my breath for a fix at this point.

Best to my recollection we had;
We never got a Restoration Movement package.

Hmm. Either they were phased out, or very well-hidden for L6. I never knew of a P&C library expansion bundle.
I can only assume they didn't have enough books to have made a P&C Platinum library, since base packages tend to have better (cost per book) discounts.
Perhaps that's the reason why they offered denominational bundles in addition to libraries, because they make more profit off of the bundles.

You are correct, Mark. I got the Master Topical Bundle XL so I forgot about all the individual Topical Bundles. I am sorry for being confused.
