If you go to this link: http://www.logos.com/ebooks/new

You'll see the top ~34 books in the list have been just made available for purchase individually, outside of the collections that they were previously only available as a part of.  However not all the books in those collections were separated.  I'm wondering if these are being made available for the March Madness promotion.  (The Treasury of David, anyone?)

I would counsel anyone to wait until next week before making resource purchases.  Don't want to jump the gun on some deals that you might get through March Madness.

(I didn't take my own advice, though.  I went ahead and picked up Commentaries for Biblical Expositors.  I love reading commentary reviews, even when the reviewer's biases are different than mine.)

What a fantatic link ... why have I never found this page before? It is frustrating that it is so hard to discover all the goodies that there are for Logos. I can see this is a page I'm going to have to monitor regularly.

I am particularly excited about some of these volumes appearing outside of their collections ... especially Dunn's commentary on Galatians. Couldn''t afford the whole collection but just might be able to get this one. Helpful for my PhD will be my excuse .... err ... reason.

Thanks for the link. I frequently check for individual titles that were formerly available in packages only--just didn't know they had a page like this.

Good adviceSmile I made that mistake last year and made a purchase just before the announcement about the March Madness contest.

For those of us who have just joined the forum since L4 beta, what is the March Madness contest? Do we know for sure that they are planning to run it again this year?

I don't believe any of their pages link to it anymore. They have three different "new" product pages:

The one I linked to: http://www.logos.com/ebooks/new

This one (which you get from clicking the Products tab, then clicking the New Products item on the left sidebar): http://www.logos.com/products/groups/allitems/new-products

This one (which you get by clicking the Products tab, then clicking one of the links under "Downloadables on the left side, the clicking "New" on the left side"): http://www.logos.com/ebooks/groups/ebooks/new-products

They second two are both different than the first, and are usually updated later than the first.  I suspect the first one is automatically populated, and the last two are manually populated, or something like that.

Yes, they're running it again this year. I received an email about it earlier this week, plus Ryan Burns has been tweeting about working on the website. Should be pretty cool to have it back this year.

Basically Logos March Madness puts 64 titles against each other, and users vote for the title that they want to get a discount on. The winners get a discount and move on to the next round for a chance @ a larger discount, which continues until there's one title left that get the "max" discount.

It's been a year since the last one, so my memory may be a little fuzzy, but I think that was the basic idea.

Interesting pricing policy on that book - priced at $19.99 with payments starting at 'just' $20.51 Big Smile  Something not quite right there I would have thought

Rosie, where have you been this week?

I've been at a retreat for pastors to artists at Laity Lodge in Texas, then visiting friends and family. Haven't had much time to get online and I know I've missed lots of posts on the Logos forum, and I even forgot that it is March already! Wow, have I been out of touch...
