Having recently acquired the Cornerstone BC set, I've just noticed a new addition to the pre-pubs; Cornerstone BC update, 7 vols. Bit confused. Um, what gives? Is this a replacement set? Guidance please. (sorry for brevity, on my iPhone)

These appear to be two different sets of commentaries from Cornerstone.  The 9 volume set (which should be the one you have) covers Genesis, Exodus; Job, Ecclesiastes and Song of Songs; Isaiah, Jeremiah & Lamentations; Hosea - Malachi; Matthew and Mark; Luke and Acts; John and 1,2,3 John; Romans and Galatians; Ephesians, Philippians, 1&2 Thessalonians, Colossians and Philemon.  The update set on Pre-pub covers Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy; 1 & 2 Samuel; 1& 2 Chronicles; Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther; 1 & 2 Corinthians; Psalms, Proverbs; 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus, Hebrews.

These are 7 additions to what you already have. The more additional volumes are published, Logos will also make them available, as the set is not yet complete. So if you check the volumes on prepub, say for Titus you will find you do not have them in your library. The reason being, when the first installment of the Cornerstone Commentary was made available in Logos that volume (Titus) was not yet published by the publisher. Hope this helps.

Ted

Edit: The update set on Pre-pub covers Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy; 1 & 2 Samuel; 1& 2 Chronicles; Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther; 1 & 2 Corinthians; Psalms, Proverbs; 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus, Hebrews.

Thanks for the info. All is now clear. As I mentioned, I was (and still am) on my iPhone and from the quick skim I did, couldn't garner all the required info. As good as the iPhone is, it's limited screen makes it difficult for full research.
