Sorry. Not Solved ---- Changing the default Speech to Text voice in Win 10 does not change in Log
Sorry.. I thought I figured this out but have not.. Please see below.. If no one has any ideas will check with Logos support..
I must admit this is the first time I have tested this in Logos 7.. But it did always work fine in my Logos 6 Issue: I set my Windows 10 Default voice to the lady voice Zira in Windows settings. But when I use it in Logos it always uses the mail voice I dont like I have rebooted and everything else I can think of with no success.. Any ideas of what the issue may be?

I assume you went through the windows 10 settings and not the control panel to do this? I have found that windows 10 still has two different places for speech settings. For traditional desktop programs like Logos you still need to go through Control Panel (right-click on Windows Symbol and then click on Control Panel). In control panel search for "Change Text-to-Speech settings". Make sure to restart Logos after you do that.
Can't believe Windows 10 still has related settings in two different places, but there is no indication that each setting only works for a subset of programs - but that does seem to be the case.

I'm having the same problem. I've changed the voice in both the Win10 settings as well as control panel. I'm trying to use the unlocked "Eva" voice...the voice used by Cortana...it's much better than the other Windows voices. You just have to unlock it. I don't see why it's not working.
Any solutions for this. I'm running Core 6 not Logos 7.

Eve working for me.. Just tried it. Dumb question but did you restart Logos after you changed Windows to Eve?
Not sure what else it would be..

Suggest verifying Eva voice files and Text To Speech (TTS) are in "C:\Windows\Speech_OneCore\Engines\TTS\en-US" folder on Windows 10
Linked file for unlocking Eva in Registry has a file name with one character difference: MSTTSLocenUS.dat (instead of MSTTSLocEnUS.dat)
Personally changed Registry folder name format to match David and Zira conventions followed by opening Control Panel to choose Eva Mobile
"Ease of Access" has "Use the computer without a display" that has "Set up Text to Speech" link, which has "Text to Speech" tab so can choose Eva Mobile.
After selecting Eva Mobile, launched Logos 7 to verify System Narrator is now Eva (for Read Aloud).

!As you suggested, it was in the "Use the computer without a display" >> "Set up Text to Speech" link located in the old Win 7 Control Panel:
[Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Ease of Access Center]
I changed it in the narrator through the Win7 Control Panel, and in the Win10 Settings menu, but didn't change it in the "Set up Text to Speech" link.
So there's 3 places we need to change it.
