Please help & thanks!!

Please attach a screen shot (using paper clip) from Mac showing lack of lemmas. Has indexing completed on Mac ?

Apologies since unable to replicate using Logos 7.4 Beta 3 on OS X 10.10.5

Also search function in OpenText is inaccurate (with a lot of missing results). Search result in NA28 is fine.

I can replicate the lemma not appearing in the context menu on Windows, so it does look like a problem with the resource.

Ahh, you guys discussing over here while I was still at the thread in the Logos 5 forum!

Now seeing the example, it seems that this is a resource issue - the lemma tagging is missing only in Col 3, after the first words, as far as I can see.

It's missing in many places (e.g. Matthew 7 and Luke 12). In fact, it's easier to find a place where it's missing than a place where it's present.

Well, while it seems your last sentence is overstating it, it seems Logos needs to rework the Jan 2017 version of the OpenText resource and re-issue ASAP (and, if this takes until "soon", consider retracting that version and shipping a working former version as a stop gap measure).

Noted another thread was created in the Logos 5 forum that discusses older releases for Windows and Mac (now unsupported), All Mobile Android releases are discussed in Android Apps forum, which includes 5.# mobile releases.

    Hi All,

Since the lemma tags are missing in OpenText (2017 version), I basically cannot do any search with gk lemma. OpenText is a valuable resource to my study of GNT. It clearly displays clause and syntactic structures.

Logos makes this resource even more valuable by including all searching and word study functions into it. Now this is not working and I would pray to the Lord in His grace and mercy to restore these functions back to OpenText.

    John,

I don't know how long Logos will need to fix the tagging of the OpenText Jan 2017 release

This it actually continues to do.

This you can do with any lemmatized Greek NT - most notably the free SBLGNT - and actually I think most people would do lemma-searches (as well as morph searches and other such analysis) against a base text and use syntactically enhanced texts for more complex syntax searches or in-depth passage study. Just as an idea for a workaround until your preferred method of study with OpenText is available again.

    Thanks Mick!

I believe SBLGNT workaround is not fair to users.

OpenText adds syntactic partition (subject, predicator, adjunct, complement and etc) to each clause in GNT. SBLGNT does not.

I bought OpenText from Logos 6 Feature CrossUpgrade and it worked all the time. Suddenly this resource stops working and becomes a plain document with no Bible word study ability.

I extracted the following from Logos website about OpenText (https://www.logos.com/product/27513/the-opentextorg-syntactically-analyzed-greek-new-testament):

"Perform powerful searches to find exactly what you’re looking for. Take the discussion with you using tablet and mobile apps. With Logos Bible Software, the most efficient and comprehensive research tools are in one place, so you get the most out of your study."

I believe the above product description is truly misleading. The situation goes worse when I use this resource in Android tablet. Info - Bible word study and Search functionalities no longer work. With your suggested workaround, whenever I need to do a word study or search, I need to close OpenText and open SBLGNT to complete work study. Then close SBLGNT and re-open OpenText again....

So Logos calls this - "the most efficient and comprehensive research tools are in one place, so you get the most out of your study.". For me, it is unethical.

Is it possible to load the previous version of OpenText onto MAC and Android?

We've updated the resource and the update has been published to the servers. If you haven't yet updated, I would imagine the update would occur in the next 24 hours.

I can confirm the issue solved in this version:

    OPENTEXTGNT.logos4
