Hi there,
I'm using an Iphone 6 with iOS 10.x and the newest Logos app. I also have a Logos 6 base package. I'm from Switzerland and use either original languages or German bibles with the app. I'm often in places where I have no internet access and would love to use the app there as well. I downloaded the resources I need there, but found that they are unusable. I can open them but as soon as I search for a key word within certain bibles or want to jump to a certain passage all results are displayed in the ESV. There is no way to find the passage or a word in offline mode in a different translation be it in German or in English. Even if I use it in split screen with another translation opened and link them together, it only jumps to the passage in the ESV. I can scroll in any of the downloaded resources when I open them offline, but it will only open the passage I opened in online mode last time. And from Matthew to Romans or back to Genesis it is just very inconvenient to scroll down (or up) all the way. Is this a known problem or a missing functionality or is there something I can do about?
Thanks for your help!
Joel
What is your preferred bible set to?
You can check by clicking "More" in the bottom right, then "Settings" then "Preferred Bible".
Searching in the mobile app is a bit of a pain, but you can tap the option under the search bar and select any offline resources there (downloaded books appear at the bottom of the list for me).
I hope that helps!
Sorry I forgot to mention that I put LU84 as Preferred Bible but that doesn't help. Selecting another bible in the search bar is possible but then no results appear. I just found out that NGÜ works but so far this translation has only NT and Psalms. I just downloaded it some hours ago, maybe that helps.
Logos IOS has limited off-line functionality. Other Bible software companies like Olive Tree function well off-line. If you are serious about studying original languages off-line in IOS, look elsewhere.

Hi Joel,
Please use "Report a Problem" under the help menu so we can take a look at your app logs. Everything you've mentioned so far should work fine while offline, so there could be a bug.
In my case, the problem was that the downloaded book was somehow corrupted. Removing my downloaded books and then redownloading them fixed the issue for me.
Thanks a lot for your suggestions. The problem could indeed be solved with removing all books and redownload them again.
