After waiting patiently after the Master Journal Bundle 2.1+ came out - not a lot has happened.
Where was the frequent release programme we were expecting.
Shalom
please consider making smaller journal bundles for those of us not yet in the market. Any recommendations on what you'd like to see? How would you suggest we group them?

A Catholic/Verbum Journal Bundle would be nice. For the moment, it would be small, but it would be nice!
That's a great idea. I'll suggest that to Craig.
Phil any updates on . . . getting JETS back? It looks highly likely that we'll be getting JETS and the other Galaxie journals back in the near future. We're working out the final details and should have an announcement in the coming weeks. It's not finalized yet, but looks very promising. That is good news! I suppose jets won't make it into any of the 3.1 bundles though? It won't. It'll be part of another collection, but it'll have dynamic pricing enabled.

Sounds good and thank you for the update Mr Gons. If you can remember... please post to this forum once it is up for sale!

Thanks, Ben!
Any chance that Trinity Journal or Masters Seminary Journal can be added into one of these journal bundles? Preferably one of the smaller ones [:)]
Thank you Faithlife for the new release!
Over 800 new journal volumes downloaded into my library today! Can't wait to dig in (as well as jump on 4.1 when it's up for Pre-Pub).
Two suggestions:
1. Bible Study Magazine (all the archives and current issue) would be great in the Master Bundle.
2. I've been enjoying Messiah Magazine. Having current and archived issued would be great as well.
Thanks!
The TJL 3.1 upgrade has some missing journals. I created a new post for that issue

Mr Ben Sir. I recently purchased the TJL 3.1 upgrade and I noticed that the Conservative Theological Journal is missing volumes 8-10. I checked both Galaxie and Accordance and they have those volumes available but not Logos. Kristina told me that the publisher asked for them to be pulled but why pull only 3 volumes and only from Logos? This doesn't make much sense. Any chance a talk with the publisher can get those back? Also if you can add the JODT to your list of journals that needs to be updated I would appreciate it.

Hi Mattillo,
The publisher asked us to pull these journals due to plagiarism. I'm not sure why they are available elsewhere.
Sorry
Thanks for checking
I'm surprised they pulled three entire volumes and just didn't redact what was plagiarism. I guess I'll have to grab them from galaxie
These three journals downloaded for me. I purchased 3.1 Master Journal Collection.
I do have as well, I see them not in the same order. Master Journal 3.1
It seems like I did not spend enough money to get the full set
Just saw this conversation - Hey!! That's exciting! I'd be happy to have JETS and the Galaxie journals in the Logos mix. Keep us posted!
I also have them in Master Journal Bundle 3.1.
Maybe FL will be nice to me and add them into the upgrade and then shut it down but I'm guessing the master people got some free journals. I still don't understand why 7 issues need to be pulled (3 volumes). They can't all be bad, can they? I would guess it would be an article or two per volume
Is there a collection description that can put all of the Master Journals 3.1 into a collection? When I enter - type:journal - into the Collections resources, I only get 2,145 volumes. As the Master Journals 3.1 descriptions states that there are 2,200+ volumes, it is apparent that not all of the journals in the bundle are properly labeled as type:journal. Is this going to be fixed? Or can I get a description for a collection that will overcome the failure to properly label the journals?

Rod, you might consider expanding the collection to include type:magazine. At a purely resource level, some of the titles are--strictly speaking--magazines and not journals.
I've tagged all my journals and magazines with the Journal tag to ensure they get into my collection no matter what. :-)
That seems like a lot of work. Isn't the point of Logos to save you from having to do a lot of manual labour?
That helped.
Although, it is strange that this string - "type:journal OR title:”Evangelical Review of Theology” OR type:magazine" gives me one more volume than this string - "type:journal OR type:magazine".
But using "type:journal OR title:”Evangelical Review of Theology” OR type:magazine" still leaves me with an unanswered question - Does the collection contain all of the journals in the Master Journals 3.1 download?

Evangelical Review of Theology includes one volume that is neither a journal nor a magazine. It's an index volume that is classified as a monograph.
Your collection string should give you a collection of everything in the Master Journals 3.1 download + the one volume of ERT that I mentioned + any other journals or magazines that you already had in your library.

I'm not seeing that in my library and I have Master 3.1.
Are there other journals that have a monograph like this?

It's not included in Master 3.1. It's only available here: https://www.logos.com/product/38876/wea-theological-resource-library-version-3
Rod must have acquired it earlier in some other configuration.

I haven't encountered any. That doesn't mean there aren't any, I just haven't found any.

Thanks. That collection would be nice to have in Master 4.1 or 5.1.

I have the ERT index but I do not have this resource you are mentioning. So I must have acquired the resource another way as well. I have the index through vol 24, not the current 29

It has been sold other ways in the past but only the one way currently.
Please consider getting the New Testament Studies from Cambridge. 64 volumes since the 50s.

Amen!!!!!
That's what I did too, and for the same reason.
This a good suggestion, i will add my voice for it's inclusion in Logos[Y]
Any update as to when the next bundle of new journals available?
I wouldn't expect it just yet - we have only just received the last tranche.
However if FaithLife would like to answer the question - that would be good too.
We're finalizing the details and hope to have them up on Pre-Pub in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks, Phil, for the update!
Thank you Phil! Will JETS make it into the TJL 4.1 upgrade?
